224. There is an accountant at my job who is SUPER fly, just a Diva in everyway, flawless attire, super tight salt and pepper TWA, and has always made an effort to mentor me. She has always showed so much love and has really made an effort to show me the ropes. When she found out I wasnt going home for the holidays she invited me to spend the holidays with her and her family, and after a brief conversation at lunch today, I found out that she was a Soror!!! Let me repeat, I am OH SO GLAD TO BE A DELTA GIRL!!!!

JD1913 12-22-2005 03:53 PM

She even whispered me an "oo-oop" as I was leaving the office this afternoon.

Sorors always looking out

229. I'm a new young lawyer at a big "eat em up, spit em out" corporate law firm and a beautiful and amazing sista pulled me into her office to give my guidance, encouragement and support. She tells me she always trys to look out for the sisters at the firm. That made me feel great. As I walked out, she mumbled something to herself about calling her soror. I asked what she was... and of course.. she was a Devastating Diva of Delta Sigma Theta... Of course we hugged, and laughed... but she looked out for me not knowing I was a soror, but as a true sister. Deltas are BORN... not MADE.

233. It's been 93 long years of developing lasting friendships and associations, because of our rock solid sisterhood we're able to build strong bonds and relations.

It's been 93 long years of service manifested by love and dedication from women who have talent, the skills, beauty but most importantly an education.

It's been 93 long years of standing up for particular reasons because we are determined to make a difference for a lifetime not just for a few seasons.

So, if you haven't realized by now the underlying principle of this communication, let me break it down to you so you can understand our sturdy foundation.

In 1913, our 22 brilliant Founders had the bold vision, thus we've made a meticulous decision to uphold our commitment and bona fide purpose of Sisterhood, Scholarship and continuous Service.

So, please understand the message of today; which is that Delta Sigma Theta has come a long, long way and we are definitely here to stay.
