Why I Joined APO: Actually, I originally joined my freshman year of college because my boyfriend at the time was the President! Bad reason I know! But, I genuinely did believe in the principles of A Phi O at the time and thought was a total bonus. However, after my boyfriend graduated I stepped into leadership positions and FELL IN LOVE! I LOVE MY FRATERNITY! I LOVE MY BROTHERS!
Anything Else: I wish I could major in APO (Cole says I can't:rolleyes:)!

I'm working on a MA in Organizational Leadership, with a Student Affairs cognate. Yup - I'm majoring in APO....

haha, sounds good to me! My best friend/current pres. of my chapter is doing the same! I'm just gonna major in math...you know...sounds good right?

Why I Joined APO: Two reasons: first, I would have pledged last semester had it not been for trying to establish Gamma Sigma Sigma but the second reason is that I love service so much that I had to join. I have made lifelong friends in this fraternity so far that I wouldn't trade for the world.
Anything Else: I love A PHI O!

Sorry to hear about your defeat; you seem like you would make a good officer based on spirit alone :) Better luck next time, because experience is sometimes the best teacher.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. I've been in APO since Spring 2000 (8 years ago today was my induction and 3 years ago today I received my Section DSK, oddly enough :) ) and I have yet to be elected to any office but have lost more than my fair share of elections :)

I can beat that, I joined the Fraternity in 1986 (21 years ago) and I have never won an election, unless you could being awarded a sectional DSK to be that...
