Karamo, Karamo, Karamo. . .why why why??? Why must you be gay? Anyhoo, gay or not what the heck was that gyrating dance that you and Dorian were doing. :o   That dance and the last five minutes of the show had me speechless. On another note, I really don't like that Melanie chick. She just annoys me every time she talks.

Washing my eyes out with bleach

I still cant get over that dance between him and Dorian. the image will not leave my brain. For some reason, i have no problem watching Eddie and his bf Dan kiss. It didn't shake me like watchin two Black men rubbing all over each other. Maybe I am not as accepting as I thought. No, I take that back. It he is gay that is his perogative. I have just never seen anything like that before in my entire life.

AngelicWings21 10-20-2004 12:04 AM

well...i still not over this episode....
the touching
the DANCING
LAWD the DANCING...
never seen anything like that before
in my life...

I am with you futurestar
I can watch Eddie and his man...
but Karmo and Dorian...
....makes me skin crawl....
i dunno why...
i have no problem with
how people choose to live their life
and whom they want to live it with....
but um....watching those two
just...made me GAG a bit....

candygirl 10-20-2004 12:27 AM

I haven't seen tonights episode and I'm kind of reluctant to watch it when the reruns air. I'm with the rest of you all. I don't think I can take Karamo being intimate with another man. Watching Willie and his BF was cool but I don't think I can stomach watching Karamo.

evaclear04 10-20-2004 06:31 AM

Is it just me....or.... when they show Karamo saying "Doooooooooorrrrrriiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaan " that is just kinda gives you the willys!
*shudder*

OMG:eek: When I was watching the show I was saying the same thing. I can deal with Willie because he has feminine ways, and also because Karamo said in the beginning that he wears tims and tims. I just can't fathom in in that light. It was really hard to watch....especially the kissing at the end.

Oh by the way that club that they went to. What about my cousin who is gay goes there, and I went there with him last New Years Eve, and all I can say is it was a very eye opening experience. I'm still tripping off all that I saw that night.

skeeliteful 10-20-2004 12:11 PM

I've been an innocent bystander at a gay club before and I have seen some thangs . But the grinding between Karamo and Dooooorrrrriaaaan took the cake. It didn't make me uncomfortable, it just irritated me to see 2 attractive black men getting their grind on.

I think what also irritated me was how Doooooorrrriaaaan said he was a ladies man and now all of a sudden he's gay. It made me wonder:

1. Do the women in his past know that he has "switched teams" ?
2. How many other men are living like this?

BASIL, BASIL, BASIL............. I tell you what, Karamo and Dorian are perfect examples John Basil...... I am all for black love and everyone deserving to find that person to share their life with...... it's just harder to see two John Basils' on primetime versus reading about them in a novel. My girls and I don't use the term "DL" because we remember a time were "DL" simply meant on the "QT" on the "Low-Low" i.e. keep your freakin' mouth closed. Now if your familiar with E. Lynn then you'll know what being called a "Basil" means.

I feel what you saying...I don't say DL either for the exact reason
you stated....and you so right about the whole Basil thing....

The thing that disturbed me the most ..is not soo much that Karamo is gay , but that he still seems like he is trying to hide it. I mean he can't hide it now because he has told the world. However, he still has this attitude that "I don't look gay, I don't do "gay" stuff." Just think about the comment he made about Dorian.
He was like I didn't know he was gay. that's probably why I liked him. Then he gets to trippin' about the cameras being in the mix. I don't know he must be fresh out of the closet. It makes me wonder how he was conducting his life down here in Houston prior to. He just still seems shady to me. If you are gay, be gay. I can handle that better than the whole "DL" concept. Just be honest!

OH and that dancing seen clearly had me gasping for air.

Its not the fact that Karamo and Dorian are gay.. Its the fact that these two attractive, intelligent black men are unattainable to black women, and therefore it illustrates the fact the "pool" of available "candidates" for black women who are seeking relationships with black men seems to be shrinking.

Its just dissapointing to see evidence of one the hurdles I have to overcome as a single black women looking to date a single black man. :(

At least they're not on the DL now

That's a good point. We know how hard it is in our everyday lives, and it is jarring to see something like this playing out on national TV. Then again, I admit I get some of the same feeling when I see attractive, intelligent black or black/multiracial guys becoming unattainable to us through crossing over to date other types of women. I'm not talking athletes or entertainers, just the average college-educated, professional man.

I get the same feeling for the same reasons. It can be disheartening sometimes. Make no mistake, I'm very confident in what I have to offer, and I know I'm a good person who is deserving of a mate, it just can be so disappointing to see sometimes.

I heard him say he was gay, I saw him go to the gay cloubs but it just didn't register until I saw him with Dorian. That whole scene with the two of them hanging out was just like damn he really is gay. They look just like any other homie walkin around the block. That's just not what you expect to see when a guy says he's gay. You wanna see him flamin, and act crazy sayin things like ok girl. just proves times are changing

Times aren't changing, men have been gay since the bible days. There's nothing new under the sun. The fact is that not all gay men are overtly gay. The issue here is that you've, been shall I say, enlightened or made aware of the other side of the homosexual male.
