And I just re-read the thread and think she was far from being "attacked". Engaged into a heated debate, yes. Attacked? I don't think so. And if I may quote Lady Pi Phi from that same thread:
"With all due respect Just A Mom, the people on this board seem very passionate about their politics, on both sides and if you didn't want a heated political debate to start you shouldn't have posted this."

I once posted something and got the response "Shoving a dildo down xo_kathy's throat to shut her up". That seemed like more of an attack to me, but maybe that's just because it happened to me. It didn't make me leave, I just choose not to deal with the person who posted it - and yes he's still on GC. No big deal.

I do miss her posts as other posters have said. But I have to agree here... She was not run off the board. She got upset when others had very opposing views to hers. If you want to dish it out, you need to be able to take it as well. I've seen far worse attacks in my time on GC. But somepeople can't separate attacking an issue/person's views on an issue vs. attacking a person.

I miss:
Hootie (always loved her posts)
White_Chocolate (always entertaining!)
decadence (where the hell is he?)
Fuzzie (also....where the heck did she go?)

I don't think JAM was attacked. If you're going to offer political views, you have to be ready to hear the other side. If you can't, then don't say anything at all.

But I do miss her posts. She shouldn't have left.
