Please do!!! Maybe it would be more appropriate to PM it, but I would love to send her a card.

I was teased when I was in school that I was in training to be the "next Miss Blake"! :)

Hint for Jane Fielder Madio: Her school is in Pennsylvania...

No... further East!

It's easy for me to pronounce, because I've heard it since I was a child, but it's probably much harder for the rest of y'all! :)

Looking at the list of chapters, I'll guess Susquehanna University (Gamma Omicron), because I know that I'd have a really tough time pronouncing that university's name! :)

We have a winner!! It's pronounced Sus-quaw-HAN-a, btw.

Your turn!

Hmmmm.....I'm so brain dead right now, thinking of a questions tough!

All right, to date, approximately how many women have been initiated into Alpha Delta Pi?

skerbow 01-22-2004 10:43 AM

Over 183,000 women :D Go ADPI!!!!

hmmmm....trivia question...

What are the GPA requirements for potential members of ADPi? And for Delta's?

WLFEO 01-22-2004 02:34 PM

That was a tricky one--- It's different for every chapter!

skerbow 01-22-2004 03:29 PM

Yes, there are chapter specific gpa's. But there is an ADPi minimum set in our bylaws.

WLFEO 01-22-2004 03:41 PM

Hhhmmmm..... I'm sitting here with the International Bylaws and I don't see anything about it. What section are you looking in?
Maybe you're talking about your chapter bylaws?

skerbow 01-22-2004 05:46 PM

I don't know the section off the top of my head. Unfortunatly i'm at work and can't look them up. But i did find a reference on the national website.

Taken from the international website:
"Incoming freshmen that participate in Recruitment must have a 2.6 high school cumulative GPA. Second semester freshmen must have a 2.2 cumulative college GPA and meet any Panhellenic requirements. Each chapter and all upper class members are expected to maintain a cumulative GPA at or above the Panhellenic average or the all-college women’s average on campus, whichever is higher."

ETA: skerbow, I must have posted the same time as you! :)

WLFEO 01-22-2004 06:00 PM

Very interesting! I learn something new every day!!

skerbow 01-22-2004 07:09 PM

polarpi, its your turn to ask. :D

polarpi 01-23-2004 03:17 AM

What eight offices make up the traditional executive committee (I hope this is correct, this is how my chapter did it, but I'm not sure everyone does it the same way)?
