i love big guys. they whole triange chest shape thing goin on, completely solid. it seems they are few and far between. i think i shoud start applying for jobs at the big&tall men stores...

Hey, guess what, you guys? It is possible to love someone for WHO they are and all their wonderful qualities, not for what they look like or how good you look with them. I am kinda heavy, and my boyfriend only weighs 135 lbs, and wears a 29 inch waist in jeans. He's awesome. He has a great sense of humor, he's caring, fun to be with, and constantly tells me I'm beautiful, even when I'm feeling awful! Who cares what we look like together? We have a wonderful relationship and have had it for six years. I wouldn't trade him for a muscle man if he came with a million bucks!

that's awesome. i'm glad you have found such a wonderful guy. i do agree that looks can be secondary, but they do play an important role. i HAVE to be physically attracted to a guy in order to go far in a relationship with him. however, getting to know a guy helps him look better and better as you get to know him. personality has a lot to do with how a person looks too. you could be a knock out, but be a complete a$$hole. i wouldn't find you attractive b/c of your personality. sounds like double talk i know, but that's just how i look at it.

Personality isn't the only thing attractive about him. I think he's gorgeous, too. Green eyes and dark blonde hair...and great lips. Funny, most of the skinny guys I have known have been awesome kissers! He's no exception! :D His eyes were sort of (this sounds corny) magnetic. I was just drawn to him. And he likes "soft" women. Lucky for me!!

I hope I don't offend anyone but what really bugs me is when teeny tiny girls are with the big tall guys. They leave tall girls like me with the short guys. I am 5'11 and I think I would look kinda funny with at short guy. I have always heard that you look for guys that remind you of your dad. Well I think this is right because every guy I have dated has been over 6 foot and big guys. This pretty much describes my dad. About the dating a guy skinnier than me, I don't think I could do this. I would be too self conscious of myself. It would be hard for me to be comfortable with myself around them.

Why do we see a lot a black men with healthy white women? I seldomly see black guys with healthy black women or skinny white women. :confused:

I see this all the time. Maybe it's just where I live! :) (Actually, in this case, the "skinny white women" are thuggish, so it's not very flattering.)

ETA: When I was at the beach earlier this year I saw a FINE black man with a GORGEOUS white woman and, of course, I was too jealous! I mean, this couple was like model quality!

But to add my comment, I got some junk in the trunk too (well, and under the hood and some big time headlights), and all of my major boyfriends have been skinny and close to my height, which is the total OPPOSITE of my personal preference (I like them tall and thick). I don't know why, that's just how it ends up. I'm waiting for my tall thick one to appear out of the clear blue sky...

I ONLY date guys at least a foot taller than me.

I'm 5ft, 115 lbs, so I'm about average weight, but I refuse to date someone shorter than 6ft. I like my men tall and muscular. The guys I've dated have been 6'2", 6'4", 6'1", and 6'3". All were btwn. 170 - 220 lbs. My favorite was the 6'4", 220 lbs guy. He was muscular and i felt so safe and protected in his arms.

Seriously, though, don't you see a lot of black guys with fat white chicks? Its rare that you see white guys with black chicks. My freinds and I had a debate about it all and we came to the conclusion that most white men can't handle the ass that black chicks have.
