I guess y'all don't have sleeping problems anymore... congrats
I do...it seems that I can't go to sleep before 1am these days... It's 12:30am here in California and I have to be up for work at 6am. :(
I'm here - two more weeks to graduation and I'm paying for all the slacking off I did this term.
I'm here...only because I just got home from work and then hanging out with a coworker (we close at 11pm)
Time to bump this one. I have totally screwed up my sleep patterns this weekend. I didn't get enough sleep all week at work so I fell asleep early Friday evening. I woke up and watched TV until late, but had to get up to go to work today. I worked from 8:50 am until 2:07 pm (yes, I'm keeping track!) and then came home and took a nap. I got up at 5 pm because some telemarketer called. I ran errands and picked up my kids from their dad's house. Now I can't sleep. Tomorrow they are going to wake up early since the Easter Bunny is coming. Then it's church, then to my mom's house. I drop them back off with their dad at around 7:30 pm. When am I going to do laundry? I'm going to be soooo tired tomorrow! EEEK!

If you can't sleep, try running at 5:00am. By 6:30am you feel amazing.

GRRRRRRR!!!
Just got home from work a little less than an hour ago. It takes me a couple of hours to unwind when I get home from work. Working nights all this week
I have been up all night long...now I have to go to work. :(
I have worked nights for the last 8 years. I work Mon/Tues overnights then try to get back on a daytime schedule on Thursday-not easy to do. I now take ambien to help me sleep on Wed. night, which has helped, though sometimes I still feel groggy on Thursday.
I also have very active dreams and feel like even when I do sleep I actually am still awake in my "other" life. I wish there was a way I could stop dreaming. |
I don't think I went to sleep at all last night...I am sooo tired right now. :(
This "waking up every work day around 4am, head full of random thoughts so I can't fall back asleep" problem has got to stop...

I took ambien several years ago for a while. It worked great (until I developed a tolerance for it.) I can tell you from experience with Ambien: -go to bed AS SOON AS YOU TAKE IT! (within minutes it starts to work, and you will have conversations or do things that you have no memories of the next day!) -Make sure you get at least eight hours of sleep. That may be why you feel groggy the next morning. I always felt that way if I tried to wake up before I got "enough" sleep. That should get better once your body gets "used to" taking the medicine. I hope these things help!!!! Meredith |
