There are fine people, schools and chapters in the South -- no question.

What I can't tolerate is the conceit that ALL of the best chapters are there.

That is a slap in the face to many outstanding chapters and people in other parts of the country.

It's a load of Bovine Scatology.

Those who buy into that myth are completely narrow minded.

If you guys want to circle the wagons and only talk to each other, though, have a great time -- but it's no way to grow emotionally or intellectually -- and it's no way for your organizations to advance.

What do you thinks?

I believe they're in a frat - and yes, I said frat on purpose - and actually, I find them more pathetic then funny.

Well said, DeltAlum.

SigmaChiGuy 07-17-2006 09:39 AM

Those guys aren't 'fratty', they're 'douchey'.

Yes, I DID just coin a new term.

Anyone who brags about daddy's lawfirm and large trust fund, obviously has a small wiener. It's like 'that guy', you know, the one with the 1985 Ford Bronco, with a 20 inch lift kit, mud-runner wheels...etc. You know, 'that guy'. He's making up for something; small wiener? can't satisfy a woman? maybe his father doesn't love him?

Either way, those guys from 'douchey', I mean 'fratty', fit the above description.

I haven't seen anyone that has bragged about "daddy's" lawfirm or any sort of trust fund. I believe the recent lawfirm talk was about internships and getting on at a good firm after school. But you can continue all you want with your mundane jokes and lame attempts at humor. I think this is the 50th post that you have used the term "douche" in.

Well, i'm an SAE at the University of Texas, Texas Rho Chapter. I don't use the term "frat" in reference to my fraternity or others nor does anyone else on this board that you find so "pathetic."

I guess you missed LiberalSouth's post earlier in this thread:

"I would like to know what makes you more upset: The fact that my father will get me a job in a top law firm (since he's an equity partner) and I will make over 150K my first year of a real job, or the fact that I do not even need said job since my trust fund has enough money in it to last me the rest of my life."

SigmaChiGuy 07-17-2006 10:28 AM

What is your name?

Here is a quote from the previous page, from one of your Douchey friends:

"I would like to know what makes you more upset: The fact that my father will get me a job in a top law firm (since he's an equity partner) and I will make over 150K my first year of a real job, or the fact that I do not even need said job since my trust fund has enough money in it to last me the rest of my life."

Now get back to roping cattle and circling barrels.

Logic train passed you by...

Alphafrog was using frat as a way of showing her disdain for you.

I make a distinction between "frat boys" and fraternity guys. She's putting you in the former category.

Kappa Sigma - Louisiana State University. Where is Lane? Exactly. Chlorox is the best for cocktails, I think but sometimes it comes down to Tide. It absolutely disgusts me when the majority of Greekchat members dismiss a person as being troll simply because they display discretion and anonymity. You realize that I recognize you as a GDI, correct? You may have been initiated but you show no signs of being a classy lady in any regard.

That might be because we are the last standing good fraternity systems. It might be because we are exclusive, as opposed to inclusive which is the majority of the North/West's fraternities. If those fraternities are suppose to be exclusive... from what I've seen, I would feel really bad that ya'll live with these people. Or are these people.

Stereotype #19839283928, can anyone ban him for ignorance? So many on this board preach not being ignorant, but I usually see hypocrisy.

SigmaChiGuy 07-17-2006 12:12 PM

LSU? Sorry to hear that.

Oh, BTW, I don't even have 19839283928 posts? Where did you come up with that number?

What is your name?

Elephant Walk 07-17-2006 12:16 PM

My name is absolutely none of your business.

Clearly the number was an embellishment, the point was that you stereotype regularly.

AlphaFrog 07-17-2006 12:16 PM

Still waiting for one of ya'll to explain how telling someone to go drink bleach is witty/funny.

SigmaChiGuy 07-17-2006 12:21 PM

So you're a closet cyber-tough guy. Oh yeah, how'd you like your pledge brothers thumb in your butt?

...I'm not trying to be "tough", I am just not going to say my name.

I'm not really sure what your referring to, my chapter is in Louisiana, not California, we don't do sexual hazing like ya'll do.

While I am glad that you show some conceit (not sure why) in believing that I should even respond to you, no one ever said it was witty or funny.

By the way, "SigmaChiGuy", what chapter are you from?
