I really disliked the DG print!! It hougjt it looked very juvenile! Like it was thrown together! I really like the Chi O print the best, as far as staying true to their colors and symbols! I love the Alpha Phi print as far as the print goes! I like the colors of the ADPi but as far as their symbols, I felt as though it was very camouflaged, but pretty! And Theta was a pretty print I thought but once again, didn't go fit their colors! I think most people were overall disappointed with all the prints though..maybe we all just got way too excited!!!

I like most of them - the Theta pansies look a little splotchy to me, but it's not my business whether or not I like it - the Thetas get to have their own opinions! |
I am still pretty jealous that Sigma Kappa didn't get a print this round, but some of these make me a little wary about how it would turn out! The DG one looks especially thrown-together- I would have expected Lilly to be able to outdo themselves with pink & blue. I really like the ADPi one, though! Maybe it could use more contrast, but it definitely included a lot more of its symbols than any of the other prints.

Lilly Pulitzer just announced on facebook that they will be adding more sorority prints in January :) Beyond excited!!!

Super exciting!!!! But I do definitely agree with the posts above that the DG print looks thrown together. I was most excited to see that one and was very disappointed. But I hope the DGs like it

I saw a sister of mine carrying a Lilly tote in the DZ print on her honeymoon. I know, it's one of the prettiest prints, but :::cringe:::

I really can't imagine their expanding the sorority prints right now--the largest sororities are represented and after a certain point, it probably wouldn't be profitable to have the smaller NPC groups. Wonder if they approached AKA... |

If it's only available through catalog or online, it doesn't require that much overhead. Considering they have a built in market, even for the smaller NPCs I bet there's real profit to be made.

They might do what VV did with the college collection and limit it to groups who will actually buy it enough (based on size and region) to justify the cost of designing and marketing. IIRC, VV started with just the Ivies and SEC and have slowly expanded but still not by much. Groups like DDD, XO, and Theta are almost no-brainers because they're so large...like I said before, it might be harder to justify the outlay for an organization who, for numbers and regional reasons, won't bring in the numbers that a larger group would. They know who their target market is. :) |

My point was that they're obviously focusing on the larger groups and the ones that predominate in regions where Lilly Pulitzer is popular (yes, they did voting, via FB, but that's pretty self-selective). |
