I'm disappointed that there wasn't an enhanced version of Ab Aeterno last night. And the countdown to V logo was completely irritating!

Other than that, I really enjoyed last night's episode.

Whoa now, what's this about a hidden message? Did I completely miss something?

Loved last night's episode. Have we seen the Russian translator before? He was really familiar but I may have just recognized him from somewhere else.

That was Mikhail (aka Patchy) - the guy who has died over and over and over again. I think the last time we saw him (at least, the last time I remember seeing him) was when he blew up the Looking Glass station (RIP, Charlie :() with the hand grenade.

annabella put a kinda sorta spoiler in her post, but used white font so people wouldn't have to read it if they didn't want to.

That's the "hidden message"

[QUOTE=annabella;1911734]Agreed.

@ hidden

I thought this was confirmed in the Richard epi as well as on the lost postcast.

I feel like from this weeks episode it's very clear that his goal is to get himself off the island, what happens with the rest of the folks, I'm not sure he cares. Ex. how he basically told Claire she can do whatever with Kate once he is off the island.

But Kate's name wasn't in the cave, so she isn't a candidate. Locke seems to care about the candidates, too, as well as his creepy evil friends (fake Claire and fake Sayid).

Pretty sure Jacob visited her. I don't remember if it said her name or not, but I know Locke told Claire it wasn't there.

I don't think we can believe anything Locke says. Claire's name was on the wall (and the lighthouse dial), and Locke told her it wasn't. So, for him to have said that Kate's name isn't on the wall... well, I think he's just blowing smoke. (Pun intended.)

About Kate... her name was written on the cave walls, but it's been crossed out; it has not yet been crossed out on the lighthouse dial (#51). I'm thinking she is, at the very least, a former candidate. However, since her name has not been crossed out on the lighthouse dial, she might still in the running.

I guess "care about" is being used loosely, but I have no doubt that his concern isn't of a loving, I don't anything to happen to you ever, nature. He made it clear that he needs 3 more people to get off the island. He "has" Kate, Sayid, and Jin (well, had Jin). It is of no coincidence that Jack, Hurley, and Sun are on the other island/not in his camp. That is why in the last episode he went to see Sun and tried to bring her over to reunite with Jin. He's using whatever he can to lure each of the (former?) candidates to his "side". Somehow them being reunited will help him get off the island.

I agree about MIB luring each of the candidates to his side.

I don't think that the reunion of the candidates will help him get off the island, though. As long as there is a candidate for Jacob's replacement, MIB is stuck on the island.

Maybe there is something special that'll happen when the candidates are reunited. Part of me hopes that's the case, anyway. But, I think MIB's goal here is to remove all the candidates from their candidacy position (whether by luring them to his side, by killing them, or by finding a way for them to leave the island). Then, once there aren't any more candidates, MIB will be able to leave.

Maybe he wants to get them all together and kill them all at once so he no longer has an adversary (the Jacob replacement). Haha I dunno...

This link has a funny Lost reference. :)

Oh and btw, I've been showing EVERYONE that video that annabella posted. :D
