That's what I'm wondering. Or maybe they're just getting an early start on their weekend. ?? I reported one of the threads, but I don't want to get all over-kill and report all of them. I figure I can't be the only one reporting the crap. I'm hoping a supermod signs in soon...

Dude has created 60+ threads in 2 hours. That's crazy.

It's times like this that I wish I was a moderator so I could delete these threads.

It's lunch time here. Maybe an extended lunch?

We're sort of limited to our own little provinces.

It's too bad there's not more of a verification process when registering.

Which is why I have said from the very beginning that moderators need to be rotated in and out regularly. How is it that someone as awesome as I have never been a moderator? ME. SENUSRET I.

a mod can only delete within their own forum and we can't ban, unfortunately, and our two supermods, who can delete in any forum as well as ban spammers/posters are both west coast based. of course, john can do it all, but he is not often on.

IrishLake 04-20-2012 04:55 PM

Yeah, I think it's time to appoint some new supermods or something...

SWTXBelle 04-20-2012 05:07 PM

SENUSRET I for supermod.

I now have "Super Freak" going through my head: "Super mod! Super mod! He's super freaky!"

Unfortunately, this is true. If I were a GL mod or supermod, it would be "click click click click BAM!". Well, if our new friend starts spamming the AEPhi forum, that's exactly what will happen :p

In all the years I have been on this board, either as a lurker or member, this must be the worst spam attack I have ever seen!
Someone is rather unhappy, disgruntled, or has a lot of time on their hands.

Sciencewoman 04-20-2012 06:43 PM

Where's Chuck Norris when you need him? He needs to come back and give this spam-bot one of his "waxing crescent moon kicks".

carnation 04-20-2012 07:27 PM

There was some guy from Malawi a few months ago who was horrible too.

Same with the AOII forum. I've so had enough with wading through spam posts to see if anyone has posted to the threads I look forward to reading (lurking mostly lately, stupid life).
