So after reading this ridiculousness, I thought to myself "Didn't I JUST read this person's recruitment story 10 minutes ago?".....so I went back to this thread, and saw that agzg already beat me to the same-person/different-screenname comment.
If you're going to go read it, be warned that the grammar errors and excessive stupidity are just as rampant in that thread. |
This thread was hilarious! That had to have been a troll. I'm sure they're laughing at us now.
Btw, I have a ton of popcorn. My dad keeps buying it from the Cub Scouts cause he <3s scouts. |
I'm so out of the loop. What on earth is all of this nonsense?

It is girls like this that make me happy that Psi Upsilon is both small and only coed in a very few places. I have a feeling that if we were at Bama and coed she would try for us after getting rejected by NPC.

I'm always curious about how people who act like this on the internet come across in real life. Do they manage to blend in with the rest of society and act like normal people or do they spout this type of nonsense?

I see statements like this one pretty often on GC. But, in reality, don't all of our organizations have members who started out like this? There are people out there who choose majors, jobs, cars, mates, etc. based on popularity, money, etc. Those same people are in our organizations. You'd hope over time that we'd all begin to realize what's important in life. In any case, when GCers advise PNMs and aspirants not to look at the most popular organizations, but to find the organizations they fit best into...well, what if the organization they fit into is an organization that is composed of people who are concerned about looks, popularity and money? We all want different things out of life. |
