lol

Daemon and PB, you two are SO mean. cincy's new boyfriend might be a really nice guy, and if he's not, then she made a mistake like we all do when we're young. Daemon, I'm sure you've made mistakes when you were her age, and PB I KNOW you have, so give her a break.:)

cheerful...you know what you are indeed sooo sooo correct..many of us made many mistakes coming up. WHat I will say is dicsussions like these I had with close friends because I could always count on close friends to give great advice.

It's just that so many of us now rely on the 'net (i.e. total strangers) to fill our needs and cater to our ids. Think about the guy a few months ago that was egged on by 'net strangers to kill himself...think about the gilr who suicided after she found out a rival and her mom faked to be her boyfriend.

Heck, in one of my other groups last night I saw the tail end of a convo where a guy was going thru a bitter divorce and 10 people were telling him 10 different things and he caught a 'tude when I told him why don't he ask these same questions of his wife and a good friend who could advise him....wrong move DS....I got laid out 10 ways to Sunday by this chap...such bitchassedness.

We live in an age now where we really forget who we should turn to in order to best do what we should do in life to help us be happy...ourselves and those who know us.

I 'love' you guys to death and all...but trust me...if I am going thru some rough times (and I have) the LAST place I am coming is to GC for advice....heh!

Daemon, I agree, with your post, but I think a lot of people automatically make negative assumptions about other people that may be wrong. I know it's the internet and a message board, but it's just that people (not just on GC) are SO programmed to automatically assume the negative. I mean, I don't think cincy should have asked greekchat for its opinion either, but the "Chris" guy she was talking about may really have strong feelings for her, and who knows, he may be the committed kind of guy that most women want in their lives. Then again, he may not be. But I agree with you, if I needed advice on relationship issues, I wouldn't post it anywhere on the internet. I could see if it was a date or something, or about some guy who showed interest who I wasn't interested in, but a serious relationship? No way, man. I would communicate my issues with him, and I would expect the same in return. I just hope that if cincy is a real person and this isn't some kind of joke, I really hope everything works out for the best between those two.

Yeah, I've made some mistakes, and you have too.

Give her a break? Girl please. I (and other members) gave her decent advice at 1st. Then she came on here having an attitude because we weren't telling her what she wanted to hear. Personally, I could care less what she does now. IMO, (based on her posts) this joker has not connected to her emotionally, spiritually, or mentally. The only thing he connected to her is located between his legs.

cheers, when you stop posting Walmart nonsense and criticizing jokers who shop and buy $10.00 suits at Walmart, then I'll give her a break. Deal? :)

Sure. As long as you stop posting nonsense about not only Wal-Mart, but Kmart too. mkay?:);)

#27 <-----Kmart

#29 <-----Wal-Mart

btw: I never said anything about $10.00 clothing at Wal-Mart. You did.
