Um, so I guess this is where the discrepancy about Sylar is going to be explained because my little 8 year old sister had to point out to me that Sylar already couldn't die ...So why in the hell did he need Claire's power?! If you recall he'd been shot by the FBI agent episodes ago (when he first appeared) and hadn't died then (at least I believe that was him), he just did the really cool thing where he got back up in the shadow and then disappeared!

Also...this is some of the best television that I've watched in a long time. Although it did make me made that every time someone went into Isaac's apartment all they could do was stare at paintings when there was/could have been a murderer in there!! And they knew it! The scene with Simone's dad was sweet, but they should have explained it, I was like huh?
I really hope Simone comes back on the show, I'm sure that she must have powers too if her father did, I mean he seemed to have some really big power to be so involved and since it's genetic...

The scene with Peter and Nathan was so sweet. But I really did want Claire to shoot too. She kept on making those cute determined faces and talking about the cause, but when the time came to walk the walk well...she balked. One last thing. This person that can see Molly back, who is this and why does he have to be a man, I'd totally love to have a strong female villain. Nathan and Peter's mom isn't really one, she's just a stupid b****

I also can't wait to see the amazing powers the Japanese people of the past have because obivously if an eclipse happened there the same way...! Bring on Volume 2!!

Probably not - he didn't get into his brain. Also, he doesn't have ALL of Peter's powers like mind-reading.

I agree. The only reason bullets haven't killed him is because telekinesis was one of the first, if not THE first, powers he acquired.

IIRC-Sylar was shot at. We do not know if he was hit or not. And if so, how badly. Also, one can get shot or "knifed" and not die. Hero did not finish him off by either cutting head off or just pulling and twisting blade a bit.

My problem was that one one even asked about his body or said anything about a blood trail. NYPD cops would see see something of that nature in a CS like that one.

No, I'm pretty sure he was hit. Why else would he have gone down and then risen up like that? It wasn't shown, but heavily implied.
Then again..he could have been trying to fool her, but since she's in the FBI then she should have been able to hit something. I'm talking way back when Parkman was helping out the FBI. Well, I guess die wasn't the right word, but the way he rose up also implied that he could "heal" or "regenerate" already. That was the impression I initially had of Sylar before he was formally reintroduced.

Where did Sylar get the telekinesis power from? I know where he picked up most of his other powers.

IIRC-we, as veiwers, never saw him hit. And if he was hit, what kind of injury it was.
So, based on that and the "save the cheerleader" thread of show, IMHO he did not have any "regenerate power".
He just used the power(s) that he had to get out of Dodge.

After helping Papa Suresh he got access to the list and called the guy with telekinesis so they could meet at the clock shop. That was his first kill.

Not that we've been told yet. We have seen him appear to be shot but then levitate back up. We also saw him fake his death convincingly enough to fool a doctor but then he was a-okay and ready to kill when the doctor let his guard down.

SoCalGirl is right. He's got enough powers that he's, while not actually invincible, very very hard to kill. Possibly his TK could have helped him survive the stab wound by closing off any large bleeders.

I don't think he was ever wounded by the FBI officer's shots (or Parkman's, I don't remember who shot) but stopped them with the TK and faked falling as a strategy.

Miss Universe On HEROES?

The new Miss Universe may have landed herself a role on the show. She would be the love interest of one of the characters.

Well they said Hiro was going to have a love interest this next season, so it would definitely make sense... not that it couldn't be for someone else though.

I'd love to see her as some 17th century princess!!!

There has been plenty of news about the upcoming season of Heroes floating around already and for those of you that don't already know this....well there will be a Heroes spinoff called Heroes: Origins.

Origins will be a 6-Episode story run during the mid-season hiatus and feature new Heroes with powers and the fans get to vote which new character will join the regular cast full time.

Also, Heroes will have a HUGE event during ComicCon 07 in San Diego where new members of the cast will be introduced and there will be a sneak peek of the upcoming season.


1) Season starts off in another town and a new leading hero in a small town down on his luck....

2) Around Episode 9, some of the current ideas are VERY Twilight Zone meets LOST....

3) Majority of original cast will return, BUT not all will be regulars and will appear from "time to time" with cameos....

4) A NEW villain has been cast who (the actor) is known to some fans....

-- If you have read the rumors about David Anders (Sark from Alias) joining the cast as the character KANE...then I guess this confirms it

5) Zachary Quinto (Sylar) will still be on the show

6) Christopher Eccleston will return but he is NOT please with his role on the show and wants more time

7) New actor coming on board Dania Ramirez will be on for 12 episodes, character's name is Maya (it is still possible she might play another character)

for those that think that name is familiar, she played Callisto in X-Men: The Last Stand

8) A hero will be killed off in the first two episodes

9) Casting for following characters: Claire's boyfriend, Princess Keriyama.,and cheerleaders named April and May

The DOCTOR's Back! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Ok I don't fangirl often, but every now and then.

So my roomie watched this show every Monday back at school, and I didn't get a chance to see it because I had meetings on Mondays and taped 24. Anyways, I caught up on all the episodes online, and I totally addicted. I am just a little confused...So did Adrian Pasar's character acutally die? I mean you would think maybe he would have a little bit of healing power since his daughter has that gift and all, who knows? And how can they go on from where they are now? I don't see how a 6 week mini-series will work. The public wants the current characters not some new ones! Grr!! I want to see more!!

And still more spoilers for you junkies! ;)

1) David Anders (Sark from Alias) was initially reported by everyone to play a character named Kane, but he will actually play the warrior Takezo Kensei. Kensei will play a key role during season 2 and this is the warrior that Hiro sees during the Season 1 finale.

2) George Takei is in the first episode

3) According Tim Kring, Hiro will remain in the past for only a "hand full" of episodes, but that does not mean he will not be time traveling later in the season...

4) Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) will be back but not for long

5) Shalim Ortiz has joined the cast and will play an immigrant trying to escape his country to get to America with his sister (Dania Ramirez).

6) Pop star Eriko Tamura has been cast as a Japanese princess.

7) Lindsy Fonseca and Dianna Aron are cheerleaders in Southern California. They will be a part of the story line that will follow Claire as she moves to Los Angeles. One will be the good cheerleader, the other a mean one and one of them will play a gay character.

If #1 is right I'll be really annoyed.

Why?

How is he supposed to be a samurai? It makes me think of that Tom Cruise movie. I loved Sark and want to see him in more of a Linderman related evilness type of role. :)

Theory: Sylar's "real" power is the ability to look at something, figure out how it works and replicate it. He did it with the watches in the beginnig and it's why he has to cut into people's brains - to see how their power works.

Question: Did DL pull out Linderman's brain or just punch through it? That is a very important detail since Linderman is a healer.

More: If Sylar is still alive, Peter has to be alive as well. Here is where I come up with about a dozen different comic book reasons why my future husband has to come back, none of them related to his new 'do. Every villian has a hero who is his antithesis.
We already know that Peter and Hiro are the only (known) heroes with the ability to (single-handedly) stop Sylar. If Peter can manage to wrestle down more than one ability at a time, he has a few that Sylar doesn't (invisiblity, regeneration, flight) and they will give him the edge. If the show sticks to true comic book format, however, they will never kill each other but the attempts should be fantastic.

Theory: It is possible that Nathan is still alive if he dropped Peter just before he exploded and flew away. However, self-sacrifice for the greater good is a major factor in being a true hero so I have serious doubts that Nathan is still alive.

I had other theories and questions but it took so long to sort these out that I have forgotten my others. I'll be back later with more. :D

Oh, yeah....I've done some research on Origins, from interviews with Kevin Rielly and Tim Kring, and the NBC website and I keep finding that either they haven't decided exactly when to air the sub-series or that it will air after the season finale, since the base idea of the show is to let us, the viewers, select a new hero for Volume 3. But I keep seeing on forums that it is slated to air mid-season. Where are you people finding this information??? I'm not challenging, just want to know if my sources were updated after I got the information for my article.

It looks like he just punched through his brain but I'll have to rewatch that scene more carefully just to be sure.

Consider me excited -- Kristen Bell (aka Veronica Mars) will be joining the cast for a least a few episodes this new season. :D
