Aaahhh, see that's not right....in her defense she did and does still have feeling for Ding Dong and remember he cheated on her and so her feelings weren't turned off, and as you can see he still has feelings for her as well. I see that they are probably going to stretch this out until the season finale with the 2 of them getting back together......now it may seem like Mel doesn't know whonm she wants to be with......... but Tia Mowry definitely does...she got married this past Saturday to her longtime boyfriend of 6 years...they got engaged 12-06. I saw a pic of them and I have seen him before..he too is an actor but haven't seen him in a lot of things......oh and I like the haircut that Mel/Tia gave herself on the show. From what I heard she had been wearing extensions because she had cut her hair already and people on TV were use to seeing her with long hair, swo I guess they finally let her be her.

Am I the only one that watched the season??? Pretty good stuff... except the last scene with Girl Melanie at Derwin's door like Joan was on a different season finale of "Girlfriends".

Jason played himself and his wife, and he really got what he deserved when Kelly left.

I'm glad Tasha Mack got some action.

Malik and Robin? Seriously. I don't think it'll last.

I'm afraid I heard ugly rumors of a possible cancellation. I will be so disappointed if that happens. Especially if we have to wait all summer to truly find out the show's fate.

These are the scenarios I wanted to see

1)I wanted Derwin to answer the door just so the ex-girlfriend could yell B****I'm pregnant by Derwin
or
2)Derwin pass out or act a fool.....I think I needed a little more DRAMA.... Melanie standing at the door was not an original season finale ending as previously stated.

I don't understand moving one of your top shows to Friday. Matter of fact, I'm surprised they're keeping it going. All I ever hear about is ANTM (love it) and Gossip Girl (for what?). They never promote The Game properly. I swear it was once the top show in African-American households. I guess they're done trying to entertain "you people". *sigh*

I DVR'd it Saturday because when it came on here the sound was trulyt f*cked up. All you heard was the audience laughing and music, and this was Everybody Hates Chris and The Game, but that damn Aliens in America or whatever it's called had perfect sound...if that ain't hidden racism and Tom Joyner says...but anyway I have looked at it 3 times now because damn it that was off the chain...first off Mel and Tash Mack in the hallway in gtheir unddies, and then hearing Malik once again say Gril Melanie...speaking of which the show before the season finale when Derwin was talking to Malik and saying that he wanted Mel back and Malik didn't know who he was talking about and he said I think you call her "Girl Melanie"...I was no more good.....

But back to the season finale, yeah when Mel told Jerome that she was still in love with Derwin and she put her hand on Jerome's knee did anyone else catch him moving her hand off with his elbow? Ding Dong's girl being pregnant and Melanie coming back to him and knocking on the door...dude i need you to open that door, and I for these people to not cancel the show until after then...yeah bugt I agree when they move a show to Friday that is usually all they wrote...gthe only show that I have seen return from a Friday is one of my other shows...Law & Order, but that is a clear show.

It was the real season premier and her haircut is hot biz!! On another note its hard for me to watch the game without Girlfriends.

I used to find it hard to get into The Game, but now, I LOVE IT!!! I missed it SOOO much and now I am eagerly awaiting Friday nights!

I am ready to write a letter to the producers and ask them to spare me the foolishness that is everyone else in the show. All I want to see is the Melanie/Derwin (Merwin) storyline.

Kelly and Jason: SIGH! Jason has NEVER been one of my favorite characters because I don't find him funny AT ALL. He's dry and corny. As for Kelly, she has a few zingers, but I can also deal with her.

Malik/Tasha/Robin: This storyline is starting to head down the tubes as well. I am not feeling this whole "strung out" over Robin business. Malik needs to become Malik again. I would like to see what, if anything, happens with Tasha and Rick.

Dru and Jerome: I'm NOT buying the whole coincidence/"he stopped by because he thought you wouldn't be back for a while" jive. Something is going on with them and it will come to the light. And I am sorely disappointed with Jerome's whole "notch in the belt" comment. Even though he may be hurting, Melanie was truly conflicted and did attempt to be considerate of his feelings. However, he wants to take it there and I am done with him.

I don't know what I was thinking about this show and where they are going to take it. I wonder how in the hell and where in the hell are they going to take this pregnancy with chickie, and Mel and Derwin.

You said this about 3 months ago, but I think the "other stuff" has gotten so much better. I'm starting to dig the Kelly/Jason storyline since Jason is being forced to face reality. Something tells me I'm the only one hoping they get back together.... I loved Malik being a grown up as he rationalized to Jason that his antics are so extra. So said the pot to the kettle who's still married to Robin Givens but cheating with youngins.

I'm still LOL at the cop telling Malik, "If you wanna shoot my gun..., you can." Seriously?

This might have been the best episode in a long time even with little "Merwin" effect. :)

Yeah, everything else has gotten better. I want Kelly and Jason to reach a resolution. Either divorce or part ways. I really wish that Kelly would have told that Jason was on steroids. That way, she would have anything to hold over his head. I don't really like Kelly, nor do I like Jason, but I know what he has been trying. She is too confused. Another issue I have is the fact her new guy didn't know she had a kid. That seems like info to reveal on the first date.

It's about time for the show to heat up again. Janae needs to drop this baby so we can prove she was lying about Derwin being the daddy.

I like the show better now, but my friend doesn't -- she believe the show is trying to be more like girlfriends with the Tasha/Kelly/Girl Melanie triad. My argument was that the show was always about them and their relationships, much more than it was an ensemble show.

However, I think it BECAME an ensemble show as it matured and found it's niche. Hell, I even like Tee Tee.

In the epidsode where Malik can't beat Derwin at video games, Malik shows up at Derwin's apartment to play his video game to prove he can beat the rookie. It is his first time meeting Melanie where Derwin introduces Malik to Melanie like this, "This is my girl, Melanie."

LOL!! I'm guessing this is from the first season, right? If so, I didn't watch any of the first season. If I did, it may have been one or two episodes, at the most. I was still a diehard Girlfriends fan and wasn't feeling this newfangled show they were trying to spin off. NOW, I swear I'd die without it!!!

Anyway, I wonder if the first season can be found online. The YouTube channel only starts at season 2.

Ok the ep from Friday was off the chain...first off who told on Girl Melanie that she was playing board games with Ding Dong, and playing dingdong with the Doc. One of my friends is thinking that Janae has some friends that works at the same hospital where Girl Melanie is interning and maybe this is how Derwin found out....all I know is that there was alot going on in that 30 minute ep....and it was all good

Also when Mel and Kelly told Tasha Mac that her weave was busted I was no more good...........

The best was dude Claycoming onto Malik...OMG, was that funny or what. The 2 of them sing Bed by J.Holiday and dancing and singing and big burly man coming and licking Malik's face I was no more good. Seeing that I DVR this show I must have hit rewind 5 times on that one, and then I also hit rewind on the dance scene in the lockerroom and let's not forget when Clay tried to play Malik and Malik was like yeah right let's look at the tape on my phone...the look on Clay's face was what..freakin priceless. Malik better watch out since Clay's career is be over as soon as they step back on the field and the talk begins.

I also think Janae had something to do with it. There is no other rational link to him finding out about the Doc.

I am certain that they will either make the baby NOT be Derwin's or Janae will have the baby and move away somewhere. A baby DOES NOT fit into the show, just like Morgan didn't fit in on Girlfriends. Notice we don't ever see Brittany (Brit-Brat). Kids have no place in shows like this.

I was more than through when Big Man came on to Malik!! That was too much to bear. I saw it coming though. Malik was acting a bit "suggestive" with ol' boy. I'm just a bit disappointed in how Malik pulled him out of the closet. Oh Malik....

I was discussing that same thing with someone. The week before, I loved how Malik was talking some sense into Jason about his over-the-top antics with Kelly. Just a week later, he goes over the top and outs Big Man. Such a villain! :mad:

I know that was an uncomfortable situation for Malik to feel a hairy lip kissing his neck for the first time, but that could've been kept private if he had a little control. He probably just ruined the guy's career (which is sad that being identified as gay can be so damaging rather than "ok...so what").

Plus, kids should be kept to a minimum on the show. They belong as a small part because kids are a reality for a lot of single people.

Can I just say I REALLY thought Bumper Robinson was gonna be the gay one!

You know you can. ;) I figured it would've been some random person from out of nowhere. I don't know if Bumper Robinson or any of those actors would've been okay developing into THE gay character, but that would have been a GREAT dynamic to explore!

Oh yeah, that is a big mystery behind how in the world did Malik find out about Melanie checking in with The Good Doctor. ....He wasn't that cute anyway.
