I have bad news.

If you plan to stay home and not go to Williams-Brice Stadium to watch the Carolina/Clemson game, you have to fork up $30 to watch it on TV. That's right, ESPN, CBS and Jefferson Pilot have passed on the game and it will be on PPV. There are even worst match ups on TV that will be on those channels. Game starts at 7 p.m.

For that kind of $, I better well go (for a couple of bucks more). And that way, Bobby will get to see the fights in the stands I talked about because fans will have spent the whole day drinking.

Signed,
JB13 (BKA Gamecock Fan)

Oooooooh...This will be the only time you will ever hear me say this but I wish I lived in the Carolinas instead of california on Novemeber 19th.

Anyways, I was looking at the schedule and I really really really really REALLY hope they show LSPoo at Ole Miss out here. Hey, Ole Miss may suck but they are the reason why i defend the SEC vs other USC fans. I hate LSWho and I think their fans are the scum of the universe. Classless fans who don't even know how to spell "Go".

And go Gamecocks!

docetboy 11-12-2005 04:42 PM

Nebraska is leading at the half for the first time since Waco, so many weeks ago...

KSU 12 - NU 17

Now that is one football team I can't figure out. UGA has trouble with them but beats then, we (Auburn) creamed them, then they go and beat UT and Florida :p

We had to make some adjustments!:p But Tenn. and Fla. are two teams that usually beat us (and pretty bad). I'm glad to see it the other way around!:D

But I'm rooting for Auburn tonight. Because if they be Ga., we win the division!

docetboy 11-13-2005 12:31 AM

Well, according to KSAT 10:00 news, Kansas State pulled an upset over Nebraska 27-25..........

LMAO!

Georgia: 30

Thanks Auburn!:D That was a good game unitl the end (which I thought it would be!)

But Ga. can still win the division next week with a win over Kentucky:rolleyes:

AUDeltaGam 11-13-2005 02:19 AM

You're welcome ;)

ISUKappa 11-13-2005 01:15 PM

Cyclones: 30
Colorado: 16

And that was with a real tornado touching down in Ames about an hour before the game.

So all that needs to happen next week is: we need to beat Kansas, Nebraska has to beat Colorado and KState needs to beat Mizzou and we'll have at least a share of the Big XII North again. Though, I'd happily settle for outright second and not have to play Texas.

If Georgia loses to Kentucky they should just blow up the SEC.

docetboy 11-13-2005 07:21 PM

If Nebraska beats Colorado on the 25th, they have a good chance of making it down to the Alamo Bowl, which will make me very happy.

If Nebraska loses to Cooardo on the 25th, they have a decent chance of making it down to the Houston Bowl, which will make me happy.

I guarantee you i'll be at either bowl if the Huskers make it.

CarolinaDG 11-13-2005 08:18 PM

*Does the THANK GOD AUBURN BEAT GEORGIA Dance*

Just think, if Kentucky somehow miraculously beats Georgia, USC is NUMBER ONE in the SEC!!! OK, ok, I know it's not going to happen, but here's to big dreams.

Personally, I think that USC has just gotten better throughout the season. They were playing so well yesterday... hopefully that kind of playing will show up to the Clemson game on Saturday!

jitterbug13 11-13-2005 10:33 PM

And hoping Clemson plays like they had when they played Wake Forest, Miami and Boston College!:p

CarolinaDG--Check out my signature!:D And here's to big dreams!

That game was fun! Watching Curvey run for the touchdown in the fourth quarter was great. I could have done without the tornado and having to seek shelter. GO CYCLONES!!!

NO PPV!

Good News! The Carolina/Clemson game will be on ESPN2 Saturday!:D They claimed that they are showing it because the fans demanded it.

I think it's because they didn't expect Carolina to be ranked this week....:o :D

PS. Hey Connie. It's not the end of the world!!!!!!!

I found out today that the game will be on ESPN2 only in SC. The rest of the nation will still watch LSU/Old Miss. Sorry, Bobby...you'll have to pay $24.95 to see it on PPV.

The coaches are trying to bring solardarity to the game this year to avoid a repeat of last year. They will shake hands before and after the game. But like I said before, the best fights are not on the field. And there will be plenty since the game starts at 7.

I've seen GhettoBrawls a few times. But never was really interested.

Jitterbug. They never show the fights in the stands on TV. But the football players fighting is sooooooo cool. Especially when SC wears all black. Oh and when the players use their helmets as weapons. Also. Can you please tell the coaches "the hell with soladarity"?

I really wanna see some fights!

They are showing OLE Miss/ LSU on ESPN 2? they usually show SEC games on CBS out here with a night SEC game on ESPN. But I guess the Ole miss/ LSU game is on at night as well ? I can't wait for that game!!!!!

You know, I LOVE UCLA, I dig the gold and pastel blue, and we have a chapter there and not USC. But come tot hink of it, now that Big Ben is out this Sunday, it got me thinking: There's been a lot of crap to come out of UCLA:

Tommy Maddox
Cade McNown
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar the football player
JJ Stokes
Freddy Mitchell

hey hey hey now Stanimal. UCLA has had its share of good players too now. Donnie Edwards, Troy Aikman, Ken Norton Jr, Roman Pfieffer, cough cough Daryl Henly, Mike Sherrard, uhhh Brian PoliDixon? lol...Jonathon Ogden, Jamir Miller, Eric Turner (RIP :( ) ...

And besides, you know as well as I know that those players you named were great college players.

So was Ty Detmer and Andre Ware

You're right though, but those other names just stick out in my mind because of all the non-football stuff, like Freddy talking all that shit and not backing it up, Cade McNown sending a corvette to Tim Couch's ex, Kareem the basketball player suing Kareem the football player, Tommy Maddox and the XFL (that wasn't football lol).

Damn, I was dreaming for that undefeated UCLA/USC match up. Frickin Arizona....

Ever been down here whenever the Bruins smash up the Aztecs? It's like a UCLA home game here, they got some good ass fans.

And I totally keep forgetting that Troy Aikman went to UCLA...

How many times have the bruins down in San Diego? Isn't every game at San Diego St. like a home game for the visiting team? lol i keeeed i keeeed. I like the Aztecs. I almost went there ya know ;) It's not that far of a drive for Bruin fans so it doesnt surprise me.

But UCLA...good fans? C'mon staniminal. Now you're pushin it. I remember goign to the Rose Bowl my Jr. Year of HS watching them play Southwest Louisiana State. One of my friends from HS had just gotten a scholarship to play TE... then LB... then DL (lol) for the bruins. Their student section was so pathetic. You know it's really pathetic when they need some old guy chanting UUUUUU CCCCC LLLLLL AAAAAA!!!! My friends and I got wasted and punked some dorky ass frat guys. Turns out they were Sigma Pi's or something like that.

dude. UCLA vs USC ...both undefeated would have been soooo sweet though. I really wished UCLA could have made it to a BCS game. And beat some chump team like ALabama or something so Connie could get all pissed off. ha ha ha. Its unfortunate that the whole nation knew Alabama was a bunch of pretenders except Bama fans. OOOOH another low blow. HA HA HA. oh Connie you know I love you and your Elephants.

Meeeeeeeeeechigan vs. Ohio State

It is that time to sing the fight song that a local DJ wrote many years ago (with changes for the coach's name over time).
To the tune of Ohio State's fight song:

Liquidate Ohio State and turn the Buckeye's blue,
They breed a lot of cattle in Columbus, it looks just like a zoo.
Knock them off their ivory towers
Send them crawling into the showers
Down with Ohio State, it's a know nothing party school.

Bust your butts for Woody (original, then Brucey, Tressel, etc)
Move your butts for Woody,

They say the girls who go to OSU are husband hunting dames.
They dig the jocks who got the killer instinct, not the boys with brains.
At Columbus you're way ahead
With straight A's in physical ed,
Down with Ohio State, it's know nothing party school.

But UCLA...good fans? C'mon staniminal. Now you're pushin it.

Consider:

I go to SDSU, where our football coach believes that since we won the second half of a 47-21 loss to New Mexico means it was a victory. Where 17-28 is good enough to be brought back for another embarassing non-bowl year. Where attendance at The Q gets smaller and more for the road fans every game. Where the students don't give a shit, and the alumni think Tom Craft, who has never finished above .500, is a good coach.

Since I was a freshman, UCLA's came down thrice and we've gone up there twice. All were bad SDSU losses, and both had our fans make them look like the Cameron Crazies.

For God sakes Bobby, every game, our fans MAKE NOISE WHEN WE'RE ON OFFENSE.....our QB had to hush the crowd every play!

DeltAlum 11-18-2005 10:59 AM

Hey, it's time for Ohio University vs. Miami. Always huge!
