They had several changes and were incredibly energetic from the portions I saw though.

Hey, I'll be in Louisville for about a week in Sept, any suggestions on cool bars to check out?

I'm seeing him in October. Is ZZ Top opening where you are? They are here...I'm strangely excited about this. :)

No, though that would be awesome. Though the person actually opening is better. Buddy Guy. At least they are advertising him as "special guest". Actually ZZ is perfoming in the Becon the same day I think lol.

FHwku 07-27-2010 04:09 AM

i saw Tom Petty & the HB, 08-16-03 (i turned 21 at midnight,) at Starwood/AmSouth Amphitheater outside of Nashville. Bo Diddley was the opening act. the whole thing was pretty amazing.

i'd like to see ZZ Top play a whole show. seeing them and Petty would be an awesome double-header.

Psi U MC Vito 07-27-2010 11:35 AM

Shit Petty has some real juice considering who he gets to open for him. Buddy Guy, ZZ Top and freaking Bo Diddley?

nittanygirl 07-27-2010 11:45 AM

N'Sync!!!!

Sarah Evans/Lonestar

Trace Adkins (years ago when I was in Jr High)

KENNY CHESNEY! (my favorite!!!) - with Sugarland, Miranda Lambert (my guy has a crush on her so I was kind of indifferent about this lol), Lady Antebellum, Gary Allen & Montgomery Gentry one year.... He also played an impromptu show standing on a boat on the edge of the River by Hienz field during the day before the show... another year w/ him I saw Keith Urban & LeAnn Rimes
If anything go see Kenny. He is AMAZING & I was really sad there was no tour this year.

DAUGHTRY! Loved this. We were 3rd Row but up against the walk out stage for a $20 ticket (love student prices)

Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley & Jimmy Wayne (who I also saw a few years ago at Longaberger when he was first getting going)

On my list this fall is Carrie Underwood bc she is going to PSU! I still have to get tickets though!

That's all I can think of right now. I love concerts though :D

groovypq 07-27-2010 11:57 AM

Tiffany (well, she played a benefit show at my HS... that counts, right?)
Air Supply
98 Degrees (the Fly2K tour in London - we stumbled upon it!)
Jimmy Buffett (lost count - about 5x I think)
Bon Jovi (3x)
Goo Goo Dolls and Fuel as openers for Bon Jovi
New Kids on the Block (2x... lol)
Billy Joel and Elton John - the Face2Face tour! How could I forget that?

Also saw Martina McBride perform at the end of one of my old company's conventions.

Miriverite 07-27-2010 12:13 PM

Sadly, I haven't seen many =(

- Britney Spears
- Morning Musume (Japanese pop group)

I WILL see Lady Gaga sometime soon, I swear.

Psi U MC Vito 07-29-2010 02:52 PM

Well I saw Tom Petty yesterday. Is it bad that even though I loved the show, I almost wish the opener just stayed on stage and did the whole show?

christiangirl 07-29-2010 05:00 PM

I saw Idina Menzel for the 3rd time this month. I have to say it was the best one yet! :D

My first was N'sync...I was like 10 and at the time you were cool if you went to that concert lol

I've seen the Blue Man Group a couple of times. They are just simply INCREDIBLE live... If you ever get the chance to one GO! It's amazing

This past September I saw Paramore, Tegan and Sara (<---LOVE), New Found Glory, and a Swedish band called Kadawatha in New Orleans for Honda Civic Tour. Now that was a concert I will remember forever.

I've been looking everyday on Celtic Woman's page for their updated tour dates. The word is is that they're doing ANOTHER North American Tour next year and I absolutely adore them. Tickets are usually about the same as my tuition but its so worth it if I can go ;)

sanjiyan69 10-29-2010 08:35 AM

forgot to add 19 wheels.

IrishLake 10-29-2010 08:59 AM

SigmaChiCard 01-17-2011 06:36 AM

Saw Mister Heavenly last night...the super group comprising Honus Honus of Man Man, Nick Diamond of The Unicorns, Joe Plummer from Modest Mouse and of course Michael Cera! It was great.

Also recently saw Radio Dept again, and the pass and headed to snowden on Friday

Munchkin03 01-17-2011 07:14 AM

I saw MGMT last year and really liked them. They've got a pretty decent stage presence.

This year's resolutions included going to see more concerts. I wanted to see The Pierces last week in the city but I had a conflict.
