I have to add that I only heard someone in Ladygreek's generation use it. ;) (I'm not messing with you LG, I just read somewhere on GC where you quoted your age. I thought I was the oldest one of GC but you are old enough to be my mother. I respect you.) |

Anyway on another board conk was used in the clowning to imply that he was a stuck back in the day. He was also the one who referred to his hairstyle as a mullet. |

I forgot to mention something. I saw a post that another member posted that she doesn't like. I'm surprised I didn't bring this up, because I can't stand it when a women calls me "boo" or "poo bear". I hate that &@!$% with a passion. I like either my 1st name, "honey", "sweetheart", "dear", "love", "babe", "baby", or"darling". If a girlfriend ever called me boo or poo bear, I might would have to call it quits, if she didn't stop calling me those names. Just more ghetto terminology.

Dude....boo...pookie....for the love of all thats holy.....PLEASE pull the tree limb outta your a$$...damn....are ALL your rules really serious??....the Sockpuppet theory is seeming more believable everyday....how could any one person have sooooo many damn hangups...and you like to throw the term "ghetto" around alot....define "ghetto"....if you're from such a good, wholesome fam, how could you possibly KNOW so much about or be the GC resident expert on whats "ghetto"....whether you realize it or not or even care, you have painted yourself to be LAMEST mofo around...please give it a rest already...hopefully one day soon, you will find the boring ass, non-descript chick you seek so that you have less free time to criticize EVERYTHING that the average woman may do, say, wear, or think..... end hijack/ sorry party people, its been one of those days... |

Glad you had a chance to rant. It's good to get it out like that sometimes isn't it? Hope you have a better day.;) |

Outsider? LMAO. I know what you mean. When I was in undergrad, the guys on our campus loved it when a woman would dress fast. Most of them did dress fast on our campus so there really wasn't a variety to choose from. I used to get laughed at when I would tell them what kind of women I liked, so I'm with you on the outsider thing. Hey, don't change the way you are though. Be you. If the men you run into don't like it, then move on to the next until you find one that likes and respects you for you.:) |

For real though, the last guy I dated continually called me "Baby" and "Baby girl" even though I repeatedly asked him not to. I HATE THAT MESS!!!   IMO, "baby girl" is what you call your daughter, not your equal. For heaven's sake, my dad and my man CANNOT have the same nickname for me. It's more the principle that anything. If you know I hate it and you can't respect my wish to be called by my name, what else are you not going to respect? It was a warning sign to me--one of many. He got cut from the team. |

So...it's more like the spirit and vibes that you get from people who do those things and not the things themselves? Dude, you sound so much more human when you put it that way. You should explain it like that more often.
WTH?? Who says "mookie"??? My aunt calls me something like that. pisses me clean off everytime (I think that's why she does it). But yeah, that other one definitely had a story attached. I don't think I'd just randomly start calling someone "Pooh Bear" that's odd. Though I did call my ex "honey," which turned into "honey bee." Don't ask how; it's embarassing. :o But for real, can a girl really get away with not being physically 'sexy?' Because, whatever men say, I've never heard of anyone saying "Oooh baby, your mind is such a turn on...I mean, the way you read just drives me crazy!!" |
