We heard our little one's heartbeat today. That has to be one of the most exciting experiences of my life! It was so fast, I couldn't believe it. I'm at 12 weeks now, so almost my 2nd trimester!!!

WOW!! So soon...it goes so fast!! This Saturday I'll be 12weeks from holding Cole in my arms. :) Enjoy every minute!!

And I just heard another GU sister is having a legacy in December!!!!

Just found out that one of my initiation sister's had her baby on May 19th. A little girl names Emily. Yay for future legacies! (Emily was almost a month early, but quite healthy and doing well!)

I will probably know if ours is a legacy or beau on June 8th! :)

How are you doing, CougADPi?

I'm doing pretty good. The doc is slightly concerned because I haven't gained any weight (I'm 17 weeks now...though I do have a nice tummy going on!) but he said some people just don't gain weight early, so he's ok with it now, but things may have to change if there isn't an increase by 20 weeks.

Next Thursday we should find out if its a beau or legacy. I can't wait (I considered calling to move up the appointment, but hubby won't let me :( )

I hope you plan to keep us in the loop on this! I'm just thrilled for you!!

Sisters (and whomever else may be reading this),
As many of you know, my hubby and I have been trying to conceive for some time now. The wonderful news is that I CAN get pregnant. The sad news is that I lost the pregnancy we had finally achieved very early on last weekend. :(
It's amazing how much you can love a little ball of cells buried in the depths of your body for even the 4 days you know about it. :)
It's been a bittersweet week. Kind thoughts would mean the world to me.

Thinking about you and praying you and your hubby will be able to finally get the baby of your dreams.

It can be a hard process for some. My hubbys aunt had a baby and unfortunately it passed away when it was only a week old, she then miscarried 8 times after that, those were so rough on her she wasnt sure she wanted to try anymore, but finally she did and came up with two great boys.

Dont give up or lose hope. When it seems like there is no chance and you are down, great things happen.

Good Luck with the future. I am sorry about this baby.

4 weeks and counting...

I had an OB appt today and there might be a slight problem with the cord being compromised. So i have to go back in on Friday to have an u/s to see if there is enough fluid passing through the cord. If not, I don't know what that means yet. ;) But my doc isn't super concerned yet. Just keep us in your prayers.

Sherra, I've been dreaming about your littlest beau! Surely he's going to make his debut soon? :)

Since last wednesday, I have been dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced. So we have been ready any minute. HOwever, if he doesn't arrive by friday, we have our induction scheduled. So at the most 1 more day!!! :p

I know we'll all be praying for a safe delivery, Skerbow.

Oh, Sherra, I hope you're at least in comfortable air conditioning! We'll be praying for a safe delivery - for Mommy AND Cole!!

Cole has arrived...as many of the myspacers know.

He came friday, July 21st at 6:49pm. He weighed 7lbs 10ozs and is 21in long. :) Everything went smoothly and he and I are doing well. I can't hardly believe he is already a week old. :) Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm hoping to be on here a little more when things settle down. In the mean time, good luck with recruitment prep ladies!

Thank you ladies. :) I'm pretty fond of him myself. Now someone send him an email so he understands that he needs to sleep 2-3 hours at a time during the night hours so momma can get some rest. ;)

Congrats Sherra, I've been meaning to leave you a note on myspace but work has blocked it and I can only get on there a few minutes every couple of days!

Just wanted to give you an update on our little beau. As of tomorrow he will be considered full term (37 weeks) so we will just be playing wait and see. He could come tomorrow (though that doesn't seem likely) or he could come as late as mid-November. I'm kinda hoping for a Halloween baby, but whenever he decides will be alright with me.

Yep, we have a name. Most likely his name will be Forest Christopher. On the off chance that he is actually a SHE (I trust technology...but never hurts to be prepared), her name will be Cadence Elizabeth.
