New season is on NOW!!!!! Soooooo EXCITED!!!!!

FlaGirl07 09-01-2008 09:34 PM

i've never seen it before, and i am so confused!!

ASUADPi 09-03-2008 08:25 AM

OMG I loved the season premiere!

The beginning of the episode was quite interesting (with Lucas dreaming about each of the 3 girls and what their lives would be like).

Honestly, I knew it wouldn't be Lindsey (even before I read that she is now on Law and Order SVU as the new DA) because of the call he made saying "i'm at the airport, join me" (basically), wouldn't have worked with Lindsey since she was in NY.

So for me it was between Peyton and Brooke. I just had this feeling it would be Peyton because while Brooke "loves" Lucas and I'm sure he "loves" her, it isn't the same as him "being in love" with Peyton. Does that make sense?

I loved the ending though when they went to the hotel room and he re-proposed, that was really sweet (she got to live out here dream).

Never expected psycho nanny (whatever her name was) to hit Dan and then kidnap him. I love the character of Dan so I hope someone finds him soon. I'm sure someone will realize "hey we haven't seen Dan in a while, where is he". More as they are curious where he has been hiding than concerned for his well-being. I have a feeling that the Doc's in charge of his condition/transplant will let the boys (Nathan and Lucas) know that their dad is to recieve a transplant but no one can seem to locate him. I have a feeling the boys will look for him because that is what they should do (as sons) not because they actually care about him. Does that make sense?

The Deb and Skillz thing, just a little odd and as someone said earlier, American Pie.

I really hope that Mouth and Millicent make some cameo's, heck even that Mouth gets a job back in Tree Hill and they "come home". I just think they are so cute together.

Brookes mom=EVIL

breathesgelatin 09-04-2008 03:05 AM

Caught the ep on DVR tonight.

I'm a sucker for Peyton and Lucas despite myself, so that's all good.

Nathan/Haley/Jamie time = fun.

Dan/Psycho Nanny Carrie plotline = WTF???? Oh, OTH and your psychos.

Deb/Skillz = yuk.

Mouth/Millie = good riddance

Brooke vs. her mom - maybe this will be interesting. I wonder if the Brooke wants a baby plotline will return.

I'm wondering how they will stir drama into the Lucas/Peyton relationship for one more season? You know they will end up together... I don't think there will be Nathan/Haley drama this season. They have had their share of drama! Please Marky Mark let them be happy for one full season! And just struggle in their respective career fields, not in their relationship!

Maybe the drama will just be the fact that for some couples the 1st year of marriage is sometimes pretty tough. Lucas and Peyton have never lived together so theres that "drama". Heck, they could also have Peyton get pregnant right away and that is huge drama (this happened to my cousin during her first marriage and OMG it was crazy, even at 11 years old I decided not to have kids right away! She spent most of her first year fighting with her husband and living with my grandparents). Plus, I'm sure Lucas will have to go on a book tour and Peyton will still be trying to find artists for her label. At least we know the "drama" involved in OTH won't be like the "drama" in soap operas :D

groovypq 09-09-2008 02:34 PM

Did anyone see the end of last night's episode coming? I didn't. And it's weird, I'm a new "convert" to OTH (just started watching last season) and I found myself so upset at the end.

KDAngel 09-09-2008 03:00 PM

Can't believe Q's dead. He so won me over last night and you could really see the transformation of what good influences/teachers in your life can bring you to accomplish. I can't wait for next week's episode, even though I'm sure it'll make me cry.

Can't believe Peyton doens't know about Brooke yet. SO CRAZY. Do you think her robber was the same guy that killed Q? That'd be twisted.

And the nanny Carrie story-line HAS to go. Granted I'm sure it'll make for some craziness if she actually finds a way to get a hold of Jamie, if even for a moment.

Yeah, I think the only reason Peyton believed Brooke was b/c she was so excited about being engaged. However, my money is on Victoria since Brooke said even her sketches were missing. Course if it's true, that is awful. :(

Nanny Carrie is just freaky. This time I'm rooting for Dan.

Unregistered- 09-09-2008 03:46 PM

Killing Q off is devastating. I liked watching the Q and Jamie interaction...it was so cute.

The Nanny Carrie storyline was beaten to death when she tried to kidnap Jamie that last time. I am rooting for Dan as well -- there's NWIH they can get rid of Mouth, Q, and one more person in 3 episodes. THAT'S JUST WRONG. I think this Nanny Carrie story's finally made OTH jump the shark.

I miss Karen.

groovypq 09-09-2008 03:55 PM

I loved Q and the way he was with Jamie. I saw something coming at the end, like when Skills mentioned Q and said "I'll just talk to him tomorrow." I was hoping against hope he wouldn't actually die. :_(

Crazy Nanny Carrie seriously freaks me out. I hope Dan breaks loose and actually strangles her this time.

I think Victoria's behind Brooke's beating too, and I hope she gets hers - but I hope Brooke doesn't shoot her.

ΑΓΔSquirrel10 09-11-2008 02:32 AM

I've been talking about this episode with my friends a lot this week (we're all HUGE OTH fans), and one of them brought up something I hadn't thought about before. Does anyone think that Brooke was raped? IMO, she seemed to be a little too upset over her store being robbed and her sketches being stolen; it's like there is something else that she's hiding from everyone. Also, that huge bruise on her upper thigh looked like a hand print to me. Maybe we're wrong, I don't know, I just found that to be interesting.

I couldn't believe that Q was killed! When Skillz said "I'll talk to him tomorrow", I was expecting Q to be hit by a drunk driver or something like that, but he would live through it. I was NOT expecting him to be shot like that!!!! My roommates and I freaked out when that happened; totally didn't see it coming.

I agree, Nanny Carrie HAS to go. I'm getting so sick of looking at her face. I cringe every time a scene with her pops up. That whole storyline is killing me; something better happen next week.

efcheerBB 09-11-2008 07:26 AM

I was looking ahead at next week's episode description on my guide before this weeks show and it said something about how the group will be dealing with a loss. As soon as everyone started talking about seeing Q tomorrow, I knew it was him. Then when he was at the gas station, even before he went in to pay, I sort of shouted no... Poor Jamie :( Losing a friend like that :(

FlaGirl07 09-11-2008 09:39 AM

Please someone clarify for me. I just started watching this season. Is it Q or Skills that is hooking up with the mom??

APhi Sailorgirl 09-11-2008 10:52 AM

Skillz is hooking up with Grandma Deb.

Yeah I was sad too. I was starting to like Q. But I can't wait to see what happens with psycho nanny and Dan.

I cried through the whole thing

ΑΓΔSquirrel10 09-15-2008 11:16 PM

I was crying throughout the whole thing! I had mascara running down my face by the end of the episode.

Nanners52674 09-16-2008 12:11 AM

Yea it was really sad more than i thought it would be. . . And I also cant really figure out the plot motive for it yet. . . All I know is One Tree Hill likes death and tragedy in very grand portrayals (keith and the school shooting)

flirt5721 09-16-2008 12:49 AM

I was almost in tears when Jamie gave Q's jersey to his little brother and when the little brother stood in line with the team.

Me too!

On a side note -- they've been filming in my hometown of Jacksonville, NC (they're normally in Wilmington) a lot lately (so claims the mom). They were in the Books-A-Million there a few weeks back and they're filming a big concert on the military base there coming up. So maybe they're doing a benefit for Q or something. No idea. But I thought I throw it all out there.

ZTAMich 09-16-2008 04:13 PM

I had to stop watching and go to bed! Just couldn't take all the sadness :(

I have a theory that Peyton's long-lost brother (the real one, not Psycho Derek) is going to come back and teach Brooke self-defense or something. And teach her the military way. Or something.

Seriously, that is one heck of a dropped plotline there. I get that he could be sent away to war, but we skipped 5 years... so surely he's back by now and since she came back to Tree Hill he and Peyton would make good on their promise to become all sibling-y?

Unregistered- 09-18-2008 11:13 PM

Finally got a chance to watch it on DVR last night and I had chills. I was very happy with the way the episode was done. It was very well written.

I had a hard time trying to figure out who was doing the narration in the beginning. I assumed it was Haley at first. I don't quite understand Samantha Walker. I know she was a shoplifter, but is she really a troublemaker? Or (based on what she wrote about Q) does she really have feelings?

I had a feeling Nanny Carrie went through something traumatic with a child. Her obsession with Jamie makes more sense now. Now that she visited her son's grave, will she let Dan go? Or will she continue being all Kathy Bates-ish?

On a lighter note, I'm confident that I'll still get my Q fix whenever I see those Hot Pockets commercials.

breathesgelatin 09-19-2008 12:11 AM

I'm behind on this season but reading spoilers.

I am going to watch episode 2 here in a bit on iTunes. and I'm watching eps 3 (and probably 4 too) next week on DVR at my old apartment with former roomie. :)

They had a big hit "Chasing Cars" a few years ago and are getting ready to release a new album on October 27th called "A Hundred Million Suns" on the umgd label. Their new single is on their myspace, "Take Back The City". Check it out and let me know if it would be a good fit for the show? My girl says yes but she is only one person, I could use some more oppinions.

she's crrrrraaaaaazy. Her storyline makes the show seem a little more like the OC than One Tree Hill, IMO.

No it makes it even crazier than the OC (my fave show of it's type). I don't get it at all.

ASUADPi 09-23-2008 11:55 PM

So I'm wondering when Lucas and Peyton will get married?

And OMG I loved the song at the end of yesterday's eppy. Very cool.

flirt5721 09-30-2008 12:04 AM

That was a great show. I really hope that psycho nanny is gone.

groovypq 09-30-2008 10:11 AM

was anyone else waiting for Lindsay to tell Lucas she was pregnant??? I don't know why, but I was. Something's gonna keep Lucas and Peyton from getting married, at least right away....

ΑΓΔSquirrel10 10-21-2008 01:14 PM

I want to adopt Jamie. He's the cutest kid ever :)

Co-signed. I worried when they first introduced him this season, but he's just so adorable you can't help but to like him. :)

So the book store scene was for Lucas' failed book signing. And the concert scene is what we're going to see this week. Very fun. :)

I just noticed that... don't know if it wasn't reported before or if I just missed the email. Anyway, deleted now.

I am catching up on OTH but still not totally caught up. I'm fascinated by the Peyton/Mick storyline.

I'm also booing the return of Mouth and Millie. I think those characters suck.

I do like what is being done with Brooke's character development.

I also love that Nathan/Haley/Jamie are finally together, happy, and getting good scenes together as a family.

I'm waaaaaay creeped out by Deb and Skillz though, and I'm rooting for Grandpa Dan. Although, how the heck did he get away with shooting Nanny Carrie? I get that the first time he shot her she was about to axe some people. That's cool. But why the second shot? Was that necessary? Did anyone witness that? I'm so confused by that part.

Anyway, I think I have 3-4 more episodes to catch up on (watching one more tonight before bed). Sorry if my discussion points are totally passe now...

ASUADPi 11-18-2008 11:36 PM

The only thing that bugs me about Mouth and Millie is how Mouth doesn't have the guts to stand up to Gigi. He's a good guy and he should know better. He is like "oh Gigi I have a girlfriend". He's not even forceful about it, while Millie gotta love her.

I totally agree. This arc needs to die already though -- I'm VERY bored with it now.

ASUADPi 11-19-2008 11:41 PM

And seriously when are Peyton and Lucas gonna get married. I mean we had to wait all summer to "find out" that it was Peyton he called (but common sense told us it was) and they still haven't gotten married yet. GRRR. I just want my Peyton and Lucas happy ending, is that too much to ask?

KDAngel 11-25-2008 12:58 AM

All I can say is holy cow One Tree Hill. WHAT an ending...
