Woo hoo! This thread exploded while I was gone. :) Thank you all for the wonderful sentiments. They really mean a lot to me! smooch! at all of ya!

I had a LONG, tiring but wonderful and fulfilling day. And I am now a full fledged sister of Alpha Phi Fraternity!

I didn't bawl but I did shed a tear or two. Everyone was so wonderful and things were so beautiful.

Not to sound cliche, but I know what sisterhood is all about (I have a bio sister and we are SO not close--bordering on estranged).

I got some wonderful gifts, from Sistermadly and YogiPhi and the crew!

I know I missed a few details and things but hell, they will come to me eventually.

It was definitely an experience to treasure!

LOL. There was some laughter...I just wished I knew what kind of expression I had.

I was blown away! I took in quite a bit of it but there are some things I missed (because I was so blown away).

(Kinda like Charlie Brown's teacher: "wha wha wha wha wha wha...") :D

But it was beautiful and a memorable day! And I am so touched and proud, not to mention blessed to be a member of Alpha Phi!

Jill, while I remember certain things of My Initiation, I still to this day get chills and hair raise up on my neck everytime I see the Ritual.

Things that I for got or see that is really new that either did not remember or ,,,, oh what the hell what ever!

I am sure when you are able to see it again sitting back as A True Member you will go WOOOOOOOOOOW, is that what really happened!:D

Orient Express is the Coater I was trying to remember, NO, I will not get on with you!:)

I am still waiting for my badge to arrive. I called M.O.D and they told me it was shipped out this past Monday.

I am also waiting to get my first official Alpha Phi Quarterly newsletter. I saw the Winter edition online and I am in a picture (pref day alumnae group pix) :eek: I had no idea and nearly choked when I saw it! :D

I have been approached about a couple of positions. I hope to get together with the Alumnae Pres to discuss it this weekend

The mail came while I was sleeping and my mother in law said: "Hmmm something for JLF" (JF coulda been my stepson but his middle initial is not L). Then I vaguely hear Masters of Design. Then I heard DH (and the DH does NOT mean DEAR Husband) kiddingly say, "Something from her stupid sorority". ;)

All of a sudden you hear a booming voice:

He came upstairs and brought me the box and I grinned for about 10 minutes!
