We FINALLY got digital cable, and I like Degrassi..... I also recently purchased the complete Junior High episodes. (ALL THE WAY WITH STEPHANIE KAYE!!!!)

But I am completely lost! They show the Next Generation episodes all the time, and so far all I know is that Joe(y) and Caitlin were still in love, and Snake and Spike were together, then not, then together again.

How many seasons are there all together? And is Degrassi High out on DVD? I always liked Degrassi High a little better than Junior High....oh the memories.....

Hey, for those of you who really follow both the old and new ones, can you tell me:

1) Does the new show ever address the issue of Emma's father Shane falling off the bridge because of drug abuse and never quite being "right" in the head ever since?

2) Did Lucy ever regain her sight?

3) Did LD's cancer ever come back?

4) What happened to the big bully dude who got AIDS? Aww, I am sad about that again.

Etc, etc.

Senusret- Emma went looking for her father in the season three premiere of DTNG and discovered that he was in a mental health hospital. he later in the episode broke out and went to emma/spike/snake's house and accidentally hurt pregnant spike. pretty sad.

I just watched Friday night's episode tonight and I can't believe his girlfriend Mia was being so mean to Liberty. I mean, I get that she was sad and everything, but still. She didn't know him for all that long and JT and Liberty had a baby together. Seriously now!

There's a marathon of the first two seasons on now. I must say, Aubrey Graham (the PRESENT, definitely OF AGE Aubrey Graham) is pretty hot -- especially with facial hair.

We still have The N on my comcast... at any rate, they must be in the middle of a huge marathon to promote THE NEW SEASON PREMIERING NEXT WEEK!!!!!

I can't wait!!! I can't believe Emma forgave Liberty just that quick. I can't believe Liberty moved in on Emma's man like that. I can't believe what has become of all the characters!! But, alas, people change that drastically IRl, so it's not that far-fetched at all...

Manny and Emma got into the same college: Manny for drama, Emma for English, Communications, Public Relations, or something like that.

Liberty started to like Emma's man, who was also flirting with her. She made a move and got busted. She apologized to Emma and Emma forgave her after Liberty had a tearful breakdown during her graduation speech.

Sean came back and wants to get back with Emma. He's getting shipped overseas.

Paige and her HIV-positive boyfriend are still going strong.

Ellie and Marco "hooked up" and neither of them know where to go from here.

I'm so sad that all the originals have been cut out of the opening titles! I just got my recap on the-N and none of them are there. How am I supposed to know what happens to Ellie and Marco's friendship or if Paige worked it out with HIV boy or if Ashley and Craig EVER get it together or if Sean goes to war or if Jimmy's stem cell surgery works out so he can walk again????
