I figured you could deduce from "fishing" and "skiing" that I meant things that would fall under the outdoors category. Sorry I didn't type out every activity I could think of where Croakies would prove useful. Obviously they were originally meant for skiers and fishermen. You read way, WAY too much into things sometimes. I never said anything about tiers. ...the point was that if you are buying the things just to say you have them (i.e. trying to hard to be "fratty") you're a douche. |

but in all honesty, is it not okay for someone to have them for the pure purpose that its convenient for putting the sunglasses on and off your face when its sunny outside. thats just a thought too lol. |

The South doesn't go along with trends. We wore what are parents wore when they were in college. Classiness isn't a trend that fades away over time. We just like to keep it classy at all time, no matter what we may be doing. At Ole Miss, everyone takes this to heart. Even the GDIs look like they can be top tier brothers. It is tradition. |

The interesting thing I find is that we're often attacked for what we wear...but then again attacked for making fun of what other people wear.
Whatever. Typical Greek Chat hypocrisy. |
I can relate to the "Croakies are lame unless you're doing something where your sunglasses might fly off" concept.
I feel the same about men in turtlenecks - unless you're skiing, or you're a beatnik at a Halloween party, no, no, NO. |

Mac, I was partly being sarcastic, but if you read other fratties who have responded, you'll see that while YOU may not assign every single thing to what fits fratty style (and therefore is cool), others do, and they're whose goat I'm trying to get. I know yours doesn't need gettin', even if we don't agree at times.

How about "classic" instead of "classy". Certain styles are classic - you could wear them then, you could wear them now - for example, the blue blazer is a classic. Lapels may change some, and the tie you wear with it, but a blue blazer is a classic.
