Colt Brennan is pretty damn impressive.

Everyone definitely took notice after last season.

When the AD went scouting for a 13th team to play, no one wanted to come to Hawaii and play us. Colt's just...that good.

No kidding. Hopefully we can beat Toledo this week too. Oh and don't worry I think I yelled enough and drank enough for you.

Our network televised the game with UNLV on Saturday. He only threw for 296 yards. Of course that was because he only played 2 1/2 quarters.

His post game interview was excellent -- just the right amount of self-confidence mixed with some humility and praise of his team.

I didn't realize there were that many people from Hawaii in Las Vegas.

The feeling of the pundits is that while he might be considered for the Heisman, he can't win because of the school/conference he plays for/in, the schedule they'll play and the time zone, meaning that most of the voters probably won't get the chance to see him play on TV because of where they live/work.

If that's true, it's too bad. He may just be the best.

My Troy Trojans beat Oklahoma State Friday night, with ESPN2 covering the game....hooray!

Alabama's last second win over Arkansas....very nice!!

There are a large number of people from Hawaii who live here. The ones I know came for the relatively "low" cost of living.

That's exactly why my family left Hawaii in the 80s. No need for the quotations marks with low. It *is* low, compared to what it costs living here.

When you add up the numbers of the former Hawaii residents in Las Vegas PLUS the number of current Hawaii residents who take frequent vacations (including my own parents, who visit every 2-3 months), it's no wonder they call Las Vegas "the 9th Hawaiian Island."

12,000 Hawaii fans at Sam Boyd Stadium last Saturday (including my parents). Makes me wish I tagged along now. :(

The quotations are because I'm from a small town in Oklahoma, so here the cost of living is "low." I have a couple friends who live in Honolulu and one who lives on the Big Island, the cost of living is crazy. I don't know how everyone can do it.

I live pretty close to Sam Boyd and it was packed.

OH.MY.WORD.

What is that school next to #14 in the AP and #15 in the ESPN/Coaches? I don't know how long this will last, but oh my, I'm enjoying it while it does!

I know how you feel. Still wonder about #10 position.

What a wonderfully wacky day of college football! It's hard to imagine any team getting through this season without a loss.

I can't wait to see the updated polls tomorrow! :)
