Ah to reply to the topic...on my campus (and for my fraternity specifically) we allow members and potential pledges to be a member of a social fraternity or sorority (we're co-ed) and one other professional fraternity. We do have a member that is in an NPC and another professional fraternity besides ours, but it's really rare...and very time consuming. We also have a member that's in Phi Mu Alpha as well as our fraternity...but at my school the theater and music programs pretty much try to support one another the best that we can, so it makes sense.

Can you??
Can you pledge a greek and a non greek??

Dual memberships
Oh, I know plenty of members of another fraternity and Delta Iota Kappa.
|
Yes you can as long as it is not part of NIC, NPC, or NHPC.
Any professional or service greek named organizations are available to you. If once you are initiated into any of the 3 councils while it is not impossible, it is almost so. Remember the time involved and if you can afford it. |

I have a friend who pledged an NPC sorority, but wasn't initiated. She is attempting to AI into a different group, and has almost completed the process. I told her that she should relinquish all of her old letters.
