I have the worst sinus infection I've ever had. It hurts like hell and I'm pretty miserable.

I'm really sorry. I hate sinus infections.

Do you have antibiotics?

Just keep pushing the Sudafed. I also find that steam helps me clear things out in there, too.

Today's my first day on antibiotics so hopefully I'll be feeling relief soon.

I tried steam and it worked so well! In my misery, I totally forgot about that...thanks for the reminder!

Now it's my turn for sinus fun. And by fun I mean torture.

This virus has moved down from my head into my chest. You know you're sick when what you're blowing out and what you're coughing up are both a color that doesn't occur in nature.

And to top it I have laryngitis.

All this fun comes when I'm traveling for work and covering 12-hour night shifts.

I just want to go home and sleep.

I already posted in the what you want to say thread but I have the stomach flu and feel like death warmed over, then cooled down and has started to scale and scab up.

I am sick of being sick! i came down last sunday with what i thought was a bad cold from one of my students. What i came down with was "pink eye" from one of my students who is asutisitc and wiped all his crud on me one day.....which turned into from yet another trip to the urgent care ....ready for this...walking pnueomia. My chest feels like every muscle and bone are crushed i cannot cough this stuff out. The antibiotics i have recived from the ER/Urgent Care finally started to kick in yesterday.

Oh wow, okay, you need bed rest! I've had this twice. Please allow yourself rest and be patient with yourself because it will take a while for your strength to fully return.

I hope you get better soon, that is horrible to have to deal with.

Ugh. Worst headache. I took two Excedrin Migraine, which are usually my magic bullet, but it didn't even touch this headache.

Now I can't go to sleep because my head hurts too much. Apparently that's God's way of saying "Please stay up all night posting on GC."

I have been sick since monday and every time I return to the house it gets worse. My throat is clogged, my lungs burn and ache, my head feels like an over filled balloon and my coughs sound like a seal and a goose combined.

Yet, I can't slow down. Ugh.

That headache is so bad I couldn't sleep until almost 2 am and then it woke me up before 5 am. More Excedrin Migraine down the hatch, but I can't imagine it being any more effective now than it was when this bad boy started.

Me = cranky.

I've spent the last 4 days in bed with the WORST flu. Sinus pressure that keeps me awake. Fever that has me breaking cold sweats, shivering, and mucus that is a very unsavory color. Sore throat and a cough too.

Its on its way though, thank the lord. Still mucusy and congested. And now my nose is all crusty.

I was feeling fine yesterday, Today I woke up with a headache and sore throat....I now have a fever, cough, nausea, dizziness, and I can't stop sneezing!

My sinuses are puffed up and the left side of my head is sore which means my lymphnones are swollen again, which means I have to go to the doctor again! grrr....I had to call in tomorrow, there is no way I can teach like this...I just hate doing it!

At least you know you'll get plenty of sleep! And you can watch What Not To Wear on the couch all day and not feel guilty because you're sick.
