Alex looks like Stephen to me sometimes before they make it's obvious it's him (by zooming in and what not). Craziness.

They showed the parents at Spring Break this time around.

Tyler and Kyndra's parents were the ones they showed/discussed so I guess they do have chaperones at least this season.

One of my "pledge" sisters went down to cabo this past April and saw the Laguna Beach people (although i dont know if its this season's cast or not). Although I dont know if its true...she did mention something about pouring drinks on them.

I think i might need to get some details from her ;)

So there was a new Laguna tonight? My DVR's set to record all new episodes on the channel, but I just checked my recorded list and...nothing!

I know that MTV shows repeats 293840298342 times, but I just like having it there and ready to watch!

My TIVO has stopped picking up Laguna Beach on wednesday's but now picks it up as a first one on friday in the middle of the day. Freaking TIVO.

Apparently MTV's doing a similar Laguna Beach-esque reality show in my neck of the woods. I'm not sure where they'd film it or what neighborhood they'd target because I can't think of any that's as affluent as LB. Plus, it's boring over here.

ETA: Nevermind, I found this: http://pccollecting.blogspot.com/200...tv-island.html -- they're filming on Maui. I already know what kind of idiots they'll showcase -- kids of 1960s/1970s hippies who never left. Not necessarily "Hawaiian" or local looking...but the bleached blond/blue eyed surfer type. Way to promote true Hawaii, MTV.

The article does state, however, that ratings have slipped...but the cast will be returning for a 4th (their senior year) season. Just grrrreat.

Even though the ratings may have slipped everyone keeps watching it, so what do you expect? Why get rid of a thing that's still making you a ton of money? Viacom's no idiot.

Whatever you say, Miss I-have-3-people-using-this-screenname-and-that's-why-I'm-able-to-be-such-an-expert-on-TV-because-the-3-of-us-spend-our-lives-on-it.

MTV officially became an idiot when they decided to start airing 23940238420934 different shitty reality shows instead of airing music videos, toots.

DSTCHAOS 11-13-2006 03:18 PM

Rocky, stop being so damn intense. You are highschoolers. If Alex is acting distant then it's because you are both kids. It's really not that serious.

I bet you that the man that you think you love at 17 or 18 is not the man or even TYPE of man you will want to be associated with when you get older and more mature.

I'm kinda surprised that no one (so far) has dropped out of school.

Does becoming a low-life slug after high school count? :D

That was really uncalled for. I don't believe what she said warranted this kind of response. You should apologize to her. Miss I-like to-write-in-really-big-font-in-my-signature-when-I-don't-agree-with-someone-on-an-internet-messageboard-and-i like-to-watch-mtv-shows-even-though-i-am-way-too-old-to-watch-them

Nice. FOR THE WIN!
