oh my god those rats are going to get out of their cage!

heehee. the rats are actually very sweet little things. it does take some getting used to them though.

the black rat Monkey almost got eaten yesterday by Itchy the cat. I left the room where I have the rat cage in open for like 5 mins and Itchy jumped into his cage!

when i went back to close the door, i almost had a heart attack! itchy was on one side of the cage sitting quietly. Monkey was on the other side being very very still. If he had moved, I know for sure the cat would have attacked him. close call!!

I had a Seal Point Siamese for 17 years before he passed away a couple years ago. He was gimpy due to a metal plate in one leg (broke it twice at a young age) and rather chubby from the exercise it prevented him from getting outdoors. :) Nonetheless, he was very friendly. His name was Sebastian, aka Baz or Baz Cat, and I looooved him.

When I'm no longer living in a sorority house, I'm definitely getting a new one. :)

Wow you guys, I wonder if I can get a bulk discount on these things so I can protect my cats from the government.
