Once the invites were being passed out often. For now, it seems Google has put a stopper in them.

Should be back up in running eventually.

I never got an invite to give out. Is this unusual?

BTW, if someone wants an invite, PM me and when I get one, it's first come, first served.

I only recieved two invites, after that I never recieved any. It's kinda disappointing because I love gmail so much and would love to share it with people!

I've had my gmail for a while now and I still have gotten no invites either. My room mate got gmail a day after me, and she barely uses it, yet she got 1 invite so far. So I'm completly confused as to how they hand out invites, it must be completely random I'm guessing.

Sent a few files with very large attachments from work to my GMail box with no problem at all the other day... other mere mortal web mail portals (that haven't upgraded their storage space) would have choked! :)

It works like whatever e-mail you were using previously. It's just better in so many ways (in my opinion).

go to www.gmail.com to sign in.

Enter your username and password.

From there it's no different really from any other web based email service.

How long did it take y'all to have invites to give out? I've had it for a few weeks now, and still haven't received any invites. I think gmail doesn't like me!

Within 2 days, I had 6. I gave those out and got 2 more. I gave those out and got one more.

I haven't had any since then though. That was awhile ago.

My list is old.

Is there anyone still waiting for an invite?

And does anyone have any invites left?
