Hi ZTAMich! Merry Christmas! The snow only lasted for a little while. It's still freezing here. Have fun in Florida! :)

We got quite a bit here in MA. I guess the Cape and islands got hit pretty hard. Around the city there's a decent amount, but the main problem is that the roads are really slippery.

*bump*

Another snow day for the kids, but I have to try to make it to work. I just spent an hour or so shoveling the snow/ice mix. I think all those who like snow are welcome to move in with me for a couple months and shovel all they want!

This was about 4 inches of snow with a half inch of ice crusted over on it. I haven't attempted to chip my way into my car yet since it's still raining ice. That was the heaviest stuff to shovel and it didn't want to come off the shovel... UGH!

Still better than hurricanes!

Snow snow snow. All it does in Ohio anymore is snow. Yesterday everytime Id shovel the walk and get to the bottom of it, it was covered again. The storm came in fast with huge snowflakes. Thank goodness it quit at like 9pm so nothing really happened over the night.

I know Im sick of snow. Before Christmas day, we had about 40-50 inches of snow in a week then the night of the 23rd we got about 15-20 more. Ohio sucks. I want to move somewhere warm.

Here in Iowa

We had about 1/4 inch of ice, followed by 11 inches of snow :) in my little south central Iowa town.

The spawnlings FINALLY made it to school today! First day back since the holiday break...

the sound of silence is wonderousssssssssssss

After all the news reports, it didn't snow. Instead it is raining. blah!

KSigkid 01-06-2005 04:40 PM

We got snow already and are starting to get sleet. It should be a fun commute tonight.

Jill1228 01-07-2005 05:30 AM

Bellingham, WA got a good amount tonight...I damn near had a conniption driving in it at midnight.

Vancouver, BC also had their share...I will gladly send some of this crap your way

we've got the best of it.
rare snow in the desert, but two to three hours away some serious skiing and other winter sports.
thank god.

It snowed for two days here. Yesterday morning's commute was awful, but then the sun came out and melted all the snow off the streets! So now all that's left is about a foot of pretty snow on the grass! :)

I just got back from Philly to find Vancouver is still a winter wonderland, or more like a giant skating rink. It is so cold and icy, and it doesn't look like it's going to improve.

Well, I am officially snowed in. My alley hasn't been plowed, and my car can't get out. So much for going out today...

Now, the question is - Should I sit around playing Zelda, or should I straighten up the basement like I was planning to do tomorrow?

Edited because I'm indecisive.

Zelda. Definitely. :p

It's due to start snowing any minute now. We are now expecting 18-24 inches.

We've got power, water, heat, food, and booze... we're all set :)

We got about 6 inches of snow last night - they were forecasting between 8 and 10 inches. I just finished shoveling my driveway and all my walks. Thankfully it was the nice light dry snow so it was rather easy to shovel - until I got to the mess that the plows left behind! I'm not going to complain because the plows were out a few hours after it finished snowing as opposed to WEEKS in Louisville! (one of the reasons I moved back home! LOL).
