I can kinda (sorta) understand a homeless person or some one who is currently working with their hands (like gardening or whatnot)

Otherwise there is not reason!!!!

Well what exactly do you expect a homeless person to do? It's not like (s)he can exactly go and and shower whenever (s)he feels like it...

I said I could understand why for them, in most cases. But in major cities there are shower for them, for like $1 or less. Plus Burger King has a sink where they can wash their hand/face.

But then again this is what I am superficial about.

I agree lol . . . its almost like some of you just really have a general hatred towards all those that you are not directly interacting with in a friendly way.

I am superficial about housewares... I believe in having nice pots, knives, china and crystal... and sterling flatware. I am baffled when I see couple getting married and registering for pages and pages of things, and not including such items, which I feel are necessary for a proper home.

As for clothes, I do LOVE nice, luxurious high-end items... but I'll wear anything I find cute - whether it's from Target or Versace... The only item I consistently splurge on is jeans... nice jeans make such a difference!

I am fully aware that there are differences of style and ettiquette in different parts of the country. These days, YOU might be able to wear your white boots or pants and feel no social retribution. But, it's not that way everywhere. Plus, I think it's just tacky. And, I am not from 1952. I am 25. So, it's not just a generational thing.

you must live in a pretty sucky place. why do you care what other people think anyways

My pet peeve is going to a biz lunch and seeing people who don't know how to properly hold a fork. It makes me want to stick a fork in my eye, call their parents and berate them for raising such a poor excuse for a human being.

Whew! I feel better. When I was growing up, table manners were stressed, so I am a real stickler for this.

Also, I hate white below the waist after Labor Day.

The "Foul Mouth" knocked his hat off, saying, "You take your f**ng hat off when they play the f***ng National Anthem, you stupid m***f***er!!!"

BWAHAHAHAHA oh WOW did that make my morning. I'm just picturing it....

Purses. I have to have designer purses. Such an expensive addiction, I know. :(

Rio_Kohitsuji 01-04-2004 05:14 PM

1. Eyebrows...oye....I've "perfected" so many...it drives me insane to see poorly maintained eyebrows.
2. Mismatching with brown and black...*gag*
3. Jeans that are tighter around the ankle..that is soooooo 80's.
4. Sandals w/jeans...
5. Flannels. Sorry..but only my grandpa is allowed to wear those..not you.

The uneducated...I can't deal with people who either aren't either college grads or college students. I have ambition for my life and I can't stand those who won't or can't further their own.

People who write online stuff like "How R U doin 2nite QT?".... it's like reading hieroglyphics. I'm not talking things like LMAO, CTFU, etc. but people who write sentences and all of their thoughts like that.

as an english major in a long family tradition of teachers and writers... i couldn't agree more... i know its easier- but its... just tacky... ;)

AlethiaSi 01-04-2004 05:51 PM

oh yeah

and hypocrites are my biggest pet peeve hands down..... I try my very best to not be a hypocrite.... why can't other people take a look at themselves and notice the very thing they are complaining about? (and god forbid if you point it out to them) ....
