Clinique! I also have white eyeliner from L'Oreal (to reduce the red eye look) that lasts decently, but I've never tried a color from them.

Yeah, who makes the best brushes. I bought some brushes today, but they aren't the best quality. I'd like to invest in some good brushes but I don't really want to pay an arm an a leg.

Also, what's the best style brush for applying eyeshadow?

my eyeliner/eyelid gap solving problem -

i'm right handed so i take my left hand and place my middle finger about 1cm away from the outer cr. of my eye and gently pull outwards toward my temples so that my top lid makes more of a straight line. it's alot easier to apply liner on yourself if you have a taut eyelid. just don't pull to hard!
also, if you are right handed like me, doing your right eye is tricky, but it is possible!

:)

LOL Rudey

we need a pic of Homer and his Makeup Gun.

In all seriousness, they always say to go to art supply stores for good quality brushes that cost less, but I've been in art supply stores w/ Mr 33 and haven't seen anything I would like to use on my face.

Victoria's Secret has good brushes. Of course, you have to have one near you that carries makeup. But it's worth it!

I have MAC, Make Up For Ever and Prescriptive brushes, but if you want one that is not bad on the price level try Sephora.

Trust me you can tell when makeup is cheap, when it comes off, runs and doesnt last. My expensive makeup last for over a year while cheap makeup a few months maximum.

I got some nice brushes at Sephora. I think that the key to keeping brushes a long time is to wash the makeup out of them.

As far as eyeliner goes I am the biggest eyeliner klutz ever. I have however had have luck with Almay hypoallergenic Amazing Lasting 16 hour eye pencil. It stays on and is good for us that are sensitive or contact lense wearers. The colors are good too. There is a grey that is much less harsh than black if you're fair and blue eyed like me.

For the record, I have dark brown eyes :)

I have always hated putting on eyeliner, until I found Smashbox. They have a cream eyeliner that is really easy to apply. This is the duo that I have -- smashing caviar and thunder. I love both of the colors, but I probably wear smashing caviar more because it seems more natural to me.

I use a conglomeration of brands of make-up, but I love Smashbox for their eyeshadows, eyeliner and lip stick. I will say, though, that it's not for everyone. My sister, who has hazel eyes, ordered a few things and hated all of them.

I like these brushes too.

I am not going to argue anymore about whether or not to buy expensive makeup. Sometimes you just have to buy a few things that aren't for you before you find what is right for you. Everyone's skin is different. That's why there are so many differnt choices of makeup.
