After I graduate, I'll be commissioned and heading off to do my thing...

I want to be an astronaut. :o
I think I'm a 5-year old stuck in a 22-year old's body. |
This is a really trick Question...
What you thought you wanted to do at some point may have changed. Now the idea is to re-evaluate your skills and look at the direction that your life is going and ask yourself is this where I want to 1. be, 2. go, 3. expand ?
So often as a recruiter I see changes in careers when a person is actually least expected due to his or her lifestyle and or lack of work skills or even a layoff. Let me know if you have any questions. |

1.) I would LOVE to be a comedian for MadTv or Saturday Night Live. How fun would that be? 2.) A music video director. I don't want to direct movies or shows, just music videos. I know, its a bit weird-but I actually started out at Penn State as a communications major to fulfill that dream. Then I changed my major. 3.) A CIA or FBI Agent. I later changed my major from communications (film) to Russian Translation with a minor in German, after returning from Iraq. After a semester or so, I thought-this sucks and I will be here FOREVER. That dream got thrown out the window. 4.) Anything with Phi Mu (nationally) 5.) A Greek Life Advisor/ Academic Advisor 6.) Eventually-I'd love to be a Professor Now-I'm not 100% sure what I would find super fulfilling. Hopefully my current plan to be something great will work out. |
If I could just learn and practice foreign languages all day, I'd do that! I don't think that's a real job, unfortunately. I'd like to work at a high school career center as a college admissions counselor. I'm working on that...slowly...

I'd love to be a professional snarkster/devil's advocate consultant. I love the idea of being paid to tell people that they're wrong.

I really want to be an army nurse. I've thought about this for a long time and considered all positives and negatives (believe me), and that's what I really want to do. :)
I should be finishing up my nursing prerequisites in the coming spring semeste (provided I can get into the classes I need), and ideally I'd like to transfer into the upper-division portion of a BSN program out of state next fall. And I'll enroll in army rotc if my master plan works out. I'll let you guys know how that goes! |

Secret shopper. That'd be awesome. I'm all about customer service.
In lieu of that, what I actually do & enjoy is usability, focusing on how the user interacts with a product. I'd love to do more. Now, if I can find that in a job for like 30-35 hours a week instead of 50... ETA- for those that want to be efficiency consultants or get paid to tell people what they're doing wrong: Six Sigma. Lots of fun. |
