NBC: Baby Autopsy Reveals Possible Noose
Plastic Wrapped Around Peterson Baby's Neck

MODESTO, Calif. -- BREAKING NEWS: NBC news is reporting exclusively that the unborn baby of Laci Peterson had a piece of plastic wrapped around its neck when the body was found.

It appeared to be a possible noose around Conner's neck, causing a significant cut. This information is from a follow-up coroner's report this morning that has been released to both the defense and prosecution.

NBC News reports that the plastic was wrapped around the baby's neck one and one half times around the neck.


A significant cut was also found on the abdominal area of Conner's body.

NBC News chief legal correspondent Dan Abrams obtained a portion of the report.

The defense has claimed that some sort of Satanic ritual may have been performed on Laci and the baby.

Attorney Gloria Allred, who represents Scott Peterson's former girlfriend Amber Frey, spoke on MSNBC Thursday morning and said that if the defense has a theory about another suspect, they should provide it to the prosecution. Allred said they should "put up or shut up." Allred also reminded viewers that the autopsy has not been released to the media and that the defense may have leaked it to the media to help their case. Allred said she has her opinions, but it will be up to the jury to decide Peterson's guilt or innocence. She also said Frey has not taken a position on whether Peterson is guilty.

Is anyone as annoyed by this lady as I am? It seems any time there is any kind of ridiculous or high-profile legal dispute in California, she seems to be on all the major networks.

Who is she, where does she come from, why is she qualified to do any of this? I've never heard of anything particularly spectacular that she's done. More of a PR person than an attorney from what I can tell. More interested in cultivating her own image than her clients' well being.

Anyone else think it's funny that her name is "Allred" and she always wears bright red lipstick that really stands out from whatever else she has on?
