I could go for a drink now... ;) Too bad it's only 9:37 am!! But hell, I'm at work ... sitting in a cubicle programming (think Office Space here). A drink or two could liven things up a bit!!! We're going a Mexican restaurant (like every thursday) for lunch... screw Diet Coke, I'll go for a Corona :D

What is the mistique about us southern guys? Most everyone down here is like that to a degree. Even super preppy rich boys drive big trucks and everyone in the state owns a pair of boots either RedWings (which I am wearing now - its raining) or a more expensive pair. Thats just how everyone is. I guess I dont see how special or different it is... Were just a bit more gentlemanly and respectful of the ladies. Thats all.

I think the mystque about Southern men is the idea of the Southern gentleman. Guys that hold doors open for ladies, open car doors for them, etc.

As far as what Lifesaver was saying, it's true. I'm in no way a cowboy, during the summer i wear cargo shorts and flip flops all the time, but as soon as fall rolls around, it's Red Wings all the time. That, and i do drive a truck.

Oh, and I had to comment about Texas men. Not only are they the most gentlemanly, they are also very handsome! Everyone drives a truck! Back in high school, I swear, even almost all of the girls drove trucks. Hell, I drove a truck in high school. :D
