If anyone else on this thread is a fairly new convert (like me), there is this great book called The Girlfriend's Guide to Hockey by Teena Spencer that explains the in's and out's of the game.

Who's on your jersey
 

Hey guys,

Help me out. I want to get a new Canucks jersey (I have the old school skate one, in orange and black with Nedved on it - don't ask me why Nedved I am still trying to figure that one out).

I figure after 12 years I should up grade but I am torn on who to put on the back of my jersey. Trevor Linden or Todd Bertuzzi? I have always been a huge fan of Trevor and he is Mr. Canuck, but Todd is an amazing hockey player and people in Vancouver just adore him and idolize him... decisions decisions.

So for all of you with jerseys who is on yours and why?

I have a Kirk Maltby jersey. I stood in the freezing cold for two and a half hours to get that sucker signed. He's my favorite player because he's he's an awesome player that doesn't get recognized like the "big name" guys do. Gotta love the grinders.

bcdphie, if it has to be a Canuck jersey, it might as well be Linden. Bertuzzi is a stupid punk.

If you value your life I'd be careful telling any Canucks fan (or Vancouverite) that - he's considered a hockey god in our town... :D LOL

That's too bad :(, since a lot of Canucks fans hold the highest regards for some of your Red Wings - especially Stevie Y who is a native of Cranbrook BC!!! We are all very proud of him!


...but on the flip side we love to jeer on Chelios and CuJo...but all in good hockey rivalry fun
