Great Movie! I definitely recommend it.

It was very enjoyable even though I had to sit near some Chatty Cathys.

Lynn Whitfield knows she is a pro at playing evil.

You are right at Lynn Whitfield----Perry picked the right person for that role.

i enjoyed it. but that wedding scene...let's just say it wouldn't be at MY wedding!

RedefinedDiva 02-26-2006 03:05 AM

HC....

HC I had to leave early because y'all cousins were cuttin' the fool in the theater!!

Babies crying, cell phones ringing, folks talking and cussing...

I should have followed my first mind and waited. I will N-E-V-E-R go to see another one of "our" movies on the opening weekend (and maybe not even within three weeks of it opening). If I do, I need to be at the 10am showing, when all of y'all cousins should be in school or at work.

However, what I saw was great. I will definitely be getting this when it comes to DVD.

There was just way too much gaudy in that wedding, lol.

Gaudy ain't the word for what that was. I will be going to see it again as well because some of crew I went with talked too damn much. And Lynn Whitfield and her vacation in hell comment.

Not just the angels, but the PIANO suspended from the ceiling...:o

::speechless::

I would like to order a Boris Kodjoe (sans fake afro) and Henry Simmons sandwich to go please. :D

This movie tried to cram in a whole bunch of "messages". Every time a character would take it there, I felt like yelling out MESSAGE!

Overall, it was a cute movie.

How about folks quoting some parts of the movie I "know" were not in the previews...guess some saw the bootleg copy b4 coming to view it on the big screen.

I want to support our movies, but I'ma need the theater to have a 9 or 10 am showing on the opening weekend .... cause I know "we" are not gonna get up that early for a movie.

Lynn Whitfield was made for that part!

Boris Kodjoe was fine...even with the Afro. Not really feeling Henry Simmons or Blair Underwood.

It was a good movie though, I will be getting it on DVD.

I LOVED it!!!! I got off work at noon on Friday and went to the 2:30 showing. Talk about NO crowds, no cell phones, no talking!!! There was this one chick with her squalling baby, but she got told about herself!!! My high (and low) lights:

The wedding was pretty but the live angels and the suspended pianos were too much.

Blair Underwood is getting on my nerves with all these evil roles. Take a cue from Lynn Whitfield; learn how to play evil!!

Of course, Madea was off the hook!!

Stay until the VERY end!!! It's funny!!
