Nope, Yuengling is a brewed beer out of Pottsville, PA.
Here's a link to the brewery: http://www.yuengling.com/

Domestically--I'm a big fan of Yuengling and Rolling Rock (I guess its from me being a PA girl)
Imports-Bass Ale, Guiness, and Coronas.

Recommendation: Get a black and tan (Guinness and Bass or Guinness and Harp). They are very good, and in a yard or half-yard glass they are an impressive sight :)

I usually have a half-yard black and tan on the (rare :( ) occasion that I find myself in Boston.

i have had those before, just not at sunset... i'll have to get one there.. and if you are ever in boston and want to go we should have a "get-together". i live about a block from sunset.

I recently have come to like much darker beer, whereas I once turned in disgust...the evolution of a beer-drinker, I presume..not that I very frequently drink much these days...but Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout is brilliant, and I also had a Texas beer that may or may not have been mentioned by the 4 million Texans on here but it was called Old Bastard Ale, I think...and it was great as well. The story was funny too.

edited to add:

Has anyone ever tried Sol Beer? If you've ever seen Mexican Soccer, it's one of the big sponsors...it is the absolute worst beer every created. I think someone was trying to prove beer could taste worse than Corona does, and that person created Sol Beer. TERRIBLE!

Yuengling actually brews a black and tan

Oh, I am so boring - Coors Light.

I like Zima. I remember when it first came out, but wasn't available yet in Texas. The former Mr. tinydancer had made his annual pilgimage to the temple at Golden, CO, and bought some Zima back. A bunch of us were sitting around playing cards and drinking this Zima stuff. I thought "That was pretty good - I believe I'll have another!" After saying that several times, I stood up and fell flat on my ass. I just sat there on the floor and thought "WHAAAAT???" Really crept up on me!!!

I haven't seen that, but Saranac also has a very good black and tan. Still, nowhere near as visually impressive as a properly made black and tan with Guinness and either Bass or Harp.

mu_agd, I'll let you know next time I'm in Boston. :)
