HC I just registered with GC, but I'm going to jump right on in here like I've been here forever?
HC I have a dating experience I want to share? HC it just happened last night? HC I met this gorgeous dude about two weeks ago? HC he just relocated from Cali? HC he had mad excuses off the bat about leaving Cali on short notice, so his car and other necessities hadn't made it yet? HC I know I can be kinda highfalutin sometimes, so I agreed to go out with him anyhow? HC since he had no car, I had to pick him up for the date? :rolleyes: HC that is a big no no with me? So, HC I did anyway and HE asked ME if I wanted to go to the movies? HC we get in the theater, it's packed, and this fool pulls out a roll of dimes to pay?:eek: :mad: HC there was a couple behind me that I knew? HC they, and everyone behind us in line, saw all this? HC I was so embarrassed? HC I realized that I am what I am and that's highfalutin, so I left his broke azz right there at the theater? HC he really wasn't that far from his house, so I'm sure he had enough change left to make it home? HC he's been blowing up my phone ever since and I just won't answer? HC I'm too damn old to be taken out by some dude with dimes? HC he's 30 and clearly should know better? HC if he didn't have any money he should have just suggested that we stay in and watch something on cable? HC I hope some dude is out there reading this and realizes that he should NEVER take a woman out if he doesn't have the means to do so? HC damn, what if I would have wanted some snacks or something? HC I really do feel better now? |

HC I am a good samaritan?
HC I got some of my good deeds "back" today? HC I was at Svc. Merchandise? HC there is a liquidation going on? HC I bought a swinging bench for $39? HC it was almost $200 regularly priced? HC anyways... HC they wouldn't let me leave it so I could find someone to come pick it up for me? HC an older lady and her two daughters heard me on my phone and offered to help? HC they were sooooooo sweet? HC they went 30 miles out of their way to help me, a stranger? HC when I told her where I lived, I assumed that she lived nearby because she broke out grinning and said "Yes! Yes! That is not far!!" HC we were far away from my place? HC I went to the service merchandise that is almost 40 miles away? HC I didn't feel poorly accepting the favor b/c I assumed that they would take some gas money, and that they didn't live too far from me anyway? HC the lady and her two daughters followed me in their truck and put the bench on my patio? HC I asked if I could help them unload their things @ their place, to return the favor?(they bought this HUGE grill, a glass top patio table, and some other misc. items) HC the lady told me no b/c it would be too far? HC I got a :confused: look on my face? HC she told me where in town she lives? HC it's not in town? HC it's not ANYWHERE near me? HC she didn't care? HC that made me feel good? HC they wouldn't let me give them gas money? HC I asked if there was something I could do for them? HC they would only take garbage bags? HC she said they needed some garbage bags @ home and asked if I had a couple? HC I buy bulk items, in bulk? HC I gave her a big ol' box of 120 garbage bags? HC she took 3 of them out and gave me the box back? HC she wouldn't take the box? :( HC my mama always said "if a person thrice refuses your kindness be kind enough to stop offering"? HC I'd reached my limit? HC I will remember those three everytime I sit on that bench? HC :D ?? HC they left smiling and waving? HC they made my day? :D HC when you get to feeling like people aren't worth the trouble... they always prove you wrong? :D |

HC he called her a simple b@#$%? HC dime dude was not far off from calling me the same? HC oh well, crazy ... deranged? HC all my married/attached sisterfriends should thank God that they don't have to deal with this madness that is dating? HC the next time your mate pisses you off, think of dime dude and just know that you could be dealing with him instead? |

HC GC?
HC I was just looking through the oooooold threads HC there has been some straight comedy up in here! HC SF's bein real silly someetimes! HC it struck me that this forum has become a very welcoming place for EVERYBODY to come and chat HC that makes me:D HC my weekend was interesting HC I dislocated my dang knee HC oh well, at least I get to stay home HC I TRIED to go to work, I really did honest! HC sleet + cructches + getting on the train = hell naw I ain't goin to work! HC oh well too bad so sad! HC the weekend was still fun HC I went a little crazy HC just a little though HC I am shaking my head at some of what I did HC oh well! HC no harm done! HC I wouldn't change a thang HC well except the whole dislocating my knee thing |
