SWTXBelle, do you have any information about TCU, quota and how many each chapter got?

Still haven't heard about the last of my Bama recs. I fear that it's not a good sign. :(

One of my Texas recs hasn't gotten back to me, and the other one said she didn't get a bid :( Still trying to get more information out of her as to whether she dropped or was cut before Pref.

Several recs were added after my original post, and I have not heard about several girls yet, unfortunately! There were also several girls that I wrote recs for who dropped out of recruitment before it began.

Did not pledge; I think she withdrew after the first round or possibly did not go through at all.

Finally heard from her mother. She dropped out just prior to Pref. To make things stranger, she also may transfer to another school.

My Rec Girl at Ole Miss pledged KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA!!!!! Very excited about this for obvious reasons!!!

I'm a little late to the party but thought I would still participate in this discussion. I wrote 5 recs this summer. Here are the houses who won over these amazing women:

Delta Gamma- 1 U of Washington and 1 U of Arizona
Alpha Phi-1 Santa Clara U
Gamma Phi Beta- 1 TCU

I also had one drop halfway through recruitment.

It's funny, some years I have great success with many pledging my sorority, and other years... not-so-much. I know it varies from school to school and the chapters need to do their part in recruiting the girls. I still wonder if I could have done more while writing their recommendations. All the girls mentioned above (with the exception of the one who dropped out of recruitment) where thrilled with their bids, each getting her first choice. That's all that really matters.

Next year, Theta, next year.

Now that this thread is reopened, I got some catching up to do :D
