During recruitment, either last year or the year before, the other poster made some disparaging remarks about my chapter of initiation that went back to when she was in school in 1978. I was there 15 years before. I asked her to stop, she refused and has kept on with little gigs here and there whenever she saw an opportunity. We did have an offline conversation where I asked her to stop mentioning my chapter and she refused. I have no clue what the source of her animus may be. Being in SGR, we are the smallest NPHC sorority in membership for which we get teased a lot!!! I do mean a lot.

About 1969 or '70, back when Lily first closed up shop, some of the fabric appeared in a North Carolina thrift store that regularly got shipments of tony stuff from NYC. Then it popped up here and there in a few fabric stores (back then every town had a fabric store, even small ones).
When Lily reappeared this century, I did a little googling and found out a lot of that fabric had been smuggled out of the factory by the employees! Back then most fabric was produced in North Carolina.
