awesome! Mr. Maybe is also on my Summer Reading list!!! I just checked my list out.. it's 20 books long :eek: Don't know if I will get all those read during the summer, but I'm sure I will be able to squeeze some into the fall semester :D

yep that's about how long my list is... but i take advantage of my commute to and from work to read all of those books.


my dad said that my sister mailed to their house a box of books for me.. i can't wait to see what's in it! I'm like a little kid in a candy store when i enter barnes & nobles, or in this case, the book box!

I am currently reading Pentecost Alley by Anne Perry. I have read almost all of her Thomas and Charlotte Pitt mysteries. I am also writing a mystery myself.

also read 'cats meow'..ugh..i read it because i have a hard time putting something down once i've started it, but i didn't really care for it..believe me, i'm just as materialistic as the next person but the main character was just far too vapid, self absorbed, and naive to like.

i just started reading "The Boy Next Door" by Meggin Cabot last night. it's hilarious. i can't put it down.
i got the title from "Live with Regis and Kelly", it's one of Kelly Ripa's book club picks. Check out her list. i've also read The Bachelor by Carly Phillips. it was good too.

yay! all finished with Running In Heels! It was a cute book... although it seemed that everything that possibly *could* go wrong, actually did for poor Nat :p

My next book is going to be The Pledge by Rob Keen. I've heard it doesn't exactly portray GLO's in the best of light, but that it's a great book to read, so I'm going to check it out to see what it's like, and I think it will be a nice change from the books I'm normally reading.

I finished it last week. It took me awhile to get into it, but once I did I really loved it. If you hate your boss it's a must read! The boss in the book is a real (*&*&^!

I believe it was on the NY Bestsellers so if you go to B&N You should be able to get it for 30-40% off which I did which cut the price down nicely!

"Jemima J" is one of my favorite books- I'm glad to see other GCers enjoying it. I didn't enjoy "Mr. Maybe" as much, but "Bookends" was real good.

I saw someone mention "On The Verge" earlier in the boards, making me want to know, does anyone read the Red Dress Ink Books? www.reddressink.com It's a publication company that has the contempary women's fiction similar to Jane Green, etc. Must reads from that collection are "Milkrun" by Sarah Mlynowski and "See Jane Date".

My aunt's favorite book is "Memoirs of a Geisha" by Arthur Golden- she bought it for me for Christmas, but I haven't gotten around to reading it yet. However, I bought it for a friend for her birthday and she read it in less than three days! What I have got through is great.

Right now I'm reading "Sushi For Beginners" by Keyes (can't remember her first name, sorry). It seems a little slow starting, but I also have the uncorrected proof(yeah working at the college bookstore), so maybe they cut some for publication.

Oh yeah, I'm also reading The Unquiet Mind. It's an autobiography of a psychiatrist with bipolar disorder. Very good read. I"m also reading Identifying Child Molesters: Preventing Child Sexual Abuse by Recognizing the Patterns of Offenders. Kind of an odd read, but I want to know a little about everything that might come up when I get my counseling license!

Being that my degree is in English...I love to read different types of books...Clark's book is murder mystery and it's excellent. Lazzarro's has to deal with race relations (makes you think), and the one by Mclaughlin and Kraus is a really funny book.
