Didn't Chris Farley die by mixing stimulants with depressants as well?

Her being where she was, was like leaving a kid in a candy store. The last thing a recovering addict needs is to be around more drugs...

I don't have a link to the story but an old friend of Houston came out and said that Whitney has been using cocaine since high school...way before Bobby came into the picture.

In 1988, I was told by a friend of Houston's family that Houston was a cocaine addict. Houston is my fav singer and I love me some Bobby Brown. When they first got married, I knew they were two peas in a pod. She was a drug addict with other issues long before they met. That's how they meshed and stayed together so long. Johnnie Gill even said that during the Bobby Brown Behind the Music. It wasn't Brown's fault but he added to it. That's why Clive Davis had to practically beg Houston to get a divorce and get her life back together. If only it was so simple as that.

^^^That is so sad. The whole thing is just tragic from every angle.

This still saddens me. :( Has a person ever passed away and you have to remind yourself that the person has passed away. Like, "oh...yeah...I forgot...daag!"

The King of R&B is back in the news. I would not doubt that his most recent behaviors are in response to Houston passing. Bobby Brown was supposedly doing much better professionally and personally. Both he and Bobbi Kristina need some prayers.

Last weekend, clearing out some shows on my DVR, I just watched Oprah's interview with WH's family and the re-air of her OW's interview with Whitney last year.

I came away thinking again that Whitney Houston was probably a handful, who was going to live her life the way she wanted, good and bad all in. Her lifestyle wasn't Bobby's fault, but she probably needed someone stronger than him to counter her, at least somewhat.

I was saddened again at her passing, but I could smile at what she accomplished, and the happiness her music added to others' lives.

Man, did that woman have an incredible voice. May God bless her soul.

Some of these things seem completely irrelevant, but somewhat interesting, nonetheless.
