Cool beans. Politicians have many surrogates.

This quote by Romney is in reference to Trump and many are saying it's directly aimed at Trump's birther issues.

I can understand criticism on the basis of him taking cash in spite of his beliefs etc, but to say Romney is pushing the birther thing because he's taking Trump's cash is a far stretch.

I also think that releasing your birth certificate may now be standard practice for candidates, just as they release tax records (which I believe was started by George Romney).

I think I missed the part where the birthers show a copy of Mrs. Obama's visa showing she was not in Hawaii at the time of the birth.

ETA- Nevermind, I thought you were referring to the First Lady, not Obama's mother Anne Dunham.

Of course they do. I'm just not convinced that Trump is one of Romney's. I'd bet Trump is more the enemy-of-my-enemy.

Nor would I say Bachman or Gingrich is a surrogate. I don't recall everyone in the '08 primaries jumping up the butts of Obama and McCain after they secured their nominations so why should we expect it for Romney?

I find this statement quite amusing.

So has Obama returned that $1 Million dollar campaign contribution from Bill Mahar yet?
