I've never heard the term "total 360" but I have heard people say "total 180". Maybe the people saying 360 are just geometrically challenged? |

And yes, total 360 is b/c people don't understand circles. lol |
CANNOT STAND when I get someone's voicemail and it says "I'll call you back at my earliest convenience." Say what? YOUR earliest convenience? Heffa please.
It only works the other way around for me as it's an expression of deference and respect for the person's time. RIGHT: "Please get back to me at your earliest convenience." (Because I know your time is precious and I appreciate you.) RIGHT: "I'll get back to you as soon as possible." (I'm busy at the moment, but will call you back the next time I have a free moment.) WRONG: "I'll get back to you at my earliest convenience." (You must be my loyal subject because I KNOW you'll be waiting anxiously for me to grace you with the glory of my voice. Yes, I know I'm bougie. *hair flip* *flutter*) |

If you create another name for a female dog, what're the odds that it wouldn't become an insult too? |
Quote:
They could just say "the girl" or something instead of "the bitch." lol |

In some ways it's a good thing that they don't change the name, it's just jarring to hear. I don't know, I say bitch myself so I'm not really claiming moral superiority on the issue. *habits I know I should work on, but haven't* |

I completely understand the offense taken at the word when used regarding a woman. What I have trouble with is avoiding the word with regard to dogs, which seems like an overreaction. In a way, it reminds me a little of the kids who laugh when someone says "Uranus." |

Regardless of the gender/sex debate (cause I've had enough of it in college), I still think there could be a different way to address a female dog. I don't find it offensive, I just don't like the word. |

FWIW, many women I know/knew would refer to a woman they did not like as "That ol' female dog" to avoid usage of the offensive word while still making sure the displeasure was expressed in a funny sort of way. ;) |

PS-I'm totally cool with your voicemail saying that. Because my beef is with the voicemails that do this: "Hey, what's up?" Pause (which is long enough for me to respond with "Nothing, really, you?) "Nothin...but hey this is actually my voicemail, so leave a message!" Not. Cool. |
