That's weird - I haven't received the email digests for that group recently....

YAY! :)

Announcing the arrival of a Legacy!!!

Well ladies one of GU sisters (PM me for her name!) had a little girl a couple days ago. Here is what mom wrote in an email last night...

I just wanted to let you all know that Allie (Allison Kimberly) was born on Thursday, Nov 17 at 2:00pm. She weighed 7.5 pounds and was 19 1/4 " long. She is doing great and I'm feeling pretty good too. My labor wasn't long at all and it couldn't have gone any better. I was very relieved. We brought her home yesterday evening and are just enjoying having her home. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during my pregnancy--she arrived perfectly.

Yay for another legacy!!!

ADPiAkron 11-20-2005 03:20 PM

I have news about my best friend and Beta Tau Alumna....Katelyn Rose was born Thursday night at 11:22pm, she weighed 6lbs 11oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. Mom and baby went home today! I am so excited!

polarpi 11-20-2005 07:45 PM

Woo hoo - 2 new legacies! :D

Lindz928 11-20-2005 08:00 PM

Aww, congratulations to the new mommies and our 2 newest legacies!!!!! :)

We are hoping to find out on the 24th, if "squirt" is cooperative. :) I wouldnt mind a little pink.

AND Case is ALMOST to a 12mth size...so maybe next fall he will be in his cute lion sweater!!!!

skerbow 02-13-2006 04:25 PM

Another ADPI Beaux was born this past week to a GC sister. He was 8lbs 9oz and 21" long I believe. HIs name is Caleb!! Mom and baby are doing well!!!

honeychile 02-13-2006 10:02 PM

I love the name Caleb! My brother's first sire for his dogs was named Caleb, and he was the sweetest Doberman I've ever known (okay, the ONLY sweet Doberman I've known!). I think it means "bold". :)

I can't believe how BIG Case is getting so quickly!!

skerbow 02-13-2006 11:22 PM

You're telling me. LOL!! Only 5 months to go and he'll be a big brother.

HBADPi 02-14-2006 01:06 AM

I know I've already told you this but I LOVE the sledding pics of Case...he really is too cute!

skerbow 02-14-2006 10:18 AM

Thank you. ;)

ASUADPi 03-06-2006 12:09 AM

Sherra,
How are you doing? Is the pregnancy going okay? Any news on if the baby is a legacy? (I'm keeping my fingers crossed, He he)

CougADPi 03-06-2006 01:12 AM

Ok, I realize its a little early to be announcing this, but I need to tell someone (we're not telling "real life" friends quite yet just in case) and who better to tell then sisters.....I'm 5 weeks pregnant!!!

We found out last week!! Obviously we're very excited. I have my first ultrasound March 23rd. :)

(VandalSquirrel, if you're around, please don't tell anyone we might both know...Thanks!!)

skerbow 03-06-2006 01:33 AM

OMG that is awesome!! Congratulations!!!! :) Babies are sooo much fun!!!

honeychile 03-06-2006 01:47 AM

I'm so sorry darlin. I didn't see this post until now. I"m doing well. I'm a stay at home mom now, which is financially challenging, but so full of rewards. As for the pregnancy, everything is going well so far. :) The little one is cooking away. OH....

AND ITS A BOY!!!...so no legacy for me this time

ASUADPi 03-06-2006 07:48 PM

Congrats Sherra.

Maybe by the third one (if you want a third one) it will be a girl.

Blame your husband, it's all his fault. LOL :D

skerbow 03-06-2006 08:13 PM

LOL! Yah it is his fault. :)

Just an fyi...I did the string test and it says I will have 6 kids, 2 girls and 4 boys. LOL!! If that comes true, it also says #3 will be a girl. :) I'll get that legacy one day.

honeychile 03-06-2006 09:04 PM

SIX?!?! Better you than me! No matter, you'll love your new beau just as much as you love Case - and so will we!!

skerbow 03-06-2006 09:07 PM

LOL! We'll see how the 6 turn out. If i have a kid every year from now until we have 6 i'll be in my mid 30s. I'm not sure I want to have children after I'm 35 or so. I don't want them that close together and I don't want to be pregnant for the next 6 years consecutive. So we'll just see if 6 actually happen. ;)

ASUADPi 03-06-2006 09:12 PM

Twins :D

skerbow 03-06-2006 09:16 PM

GIRL! DO NOT JINX ME!! They run in DH's family!!!

honeychile 03-06-2006 09:19 PM

My g-grandmother had 15 children, including 3 sets of twins. We found papers in the National Archives that he was shot twice in the groin in various wars. I still think that his wife did it. That, or she was one awfully good sport!

skerbow 03-06-2006 09:23 PM

LOL! That is great honey!

Seriously, as a kid, every single time that I would whine about, "Mama, I can't do (fill in the blank)!" she'd say, "If Kate can cross this country TWICE in a covered wagon and have 15 kids, you can certainly (fill in the same blank)!"

I hated Kate for years!

adpi*violet 03-13-2006 08:24 PM

I have an appointment with my primary care provider to get a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist for an infertility work up tomorrow. It's been a year for us TTC. Wish me luck that I am given the appointment and get in to see the specialist fairly quickly!

lonestaradpi 03-13-2006 09:09 PM

Will they be military drs? Good luck! I'll keep you in my prayers! Let us know how it goes.

adpi*violet 03-13-2006 10:15 PM

Yes, they will all be military doctors. I'm not sure whether that is good or bad yet. I'll have to see how I get treated. I do have the option of paying more for my insurance and using civilians. Since we're just starting on this process, that will be a lot of appointments to co-pay for though. Hopefully, the Air Force docs will be able to help DH and I. That way it won't cost me a cent, only my dignity for all the scrutinizing tests!

P.S. Aimee check your e-mail for a Bunco evite.

lonestaradpi 03-13-2006 11:12 PM

Ooops, Bunco evite! Got it, but forgot to reply! Sorry, going to do that right now. Good luck tomorrow. Let's hope it all works out for the best (drs, insurance, fertility).

skerbow 04-01-2006 01:24 PM

So Case and Cole it is. :) And boy is COle active this morning. LOL!

honeychile 04-01-2006 01:27 PM
