As for Assorama, it is possible that she is a plant, but it seems very much in character for her to be screwing up like this and then lying about it. As soon as I saw Kwame pick her and Heidi to be on his team, I thought, "Well, he just screwed himself. He saw how fantastically that team worked together before, why on earth would he pick it again?" I think Nick will screw over Bill similarly, but we won't see that until next week. Of course, Bill has the balls to actually call someone on their screw-up, unlike Kwame, so if someone on his team does try to pull something, they won't get away with it like Assorama is.

Bill is totally going to win. *crossing fingers*

I haven't seen this one yet, but my guess as to why K would pick Heidi and Oma is that he knows a loss can be blamed on them.

valkyrie 04-09-2004 05:01 PM

Also, he didn't really pick Heidi but ended up with her as the last person left. He would've ended up with Omarosa one way or the other since Bill chose first and there's no way he'd pick her.

ETA: here's a little story about Omarosa.

xp2k 04-09-2004 08:11 PM

I feel like a nuttjob for defending Omarosa.

What an incompetent B!$%#!

I just cant picture anyone making mistakes like that.

I really am shocked that Kwame made it so far though, he never really did anything to warrant attention or praise.

Bill's performance on the show has only been marginally better...however...

Bill is so much sharper then Kwame, and I think he will win..but personally, I'm indifferent at this point as to who wins this competition.

Going into the 3rd week, I thought that Omarosa, Troy, Kristi (I think) and Bill would make the final four.

Boy was I off!

polarpi 04-10-2004 01:48 AM

Okay, I like both Bill and Kwame, and either one, I think, would do an excellent job as The Apprentice.

However.....

Bill's demeanor in last night's episode really rubbed me the wrong way. I understand he's in the position of *managing* the entire team of workers for the golf course, but after stating that they needed to talk to the person normally in charge of big events such as the golf tournament, and then treating her like a piece of garbage and saying that he doesn't really care (my words) about what she thinks about how he's doing and doesn't consult her about what he's planning on doing (with the storage of the goodies for the goodie bags, etc), that shows a lack of respect for his *employees*.

DeltaBetaBaby 04-10-2004 09:04 AM

I disagree...I just don't think storage of goodie bags was that big of a deal that they needed to meet in committee on it.

mmcat 04-10-2004 10:10 AM

i would echo polarpi...
while it was not brain surgery, his actions still disrespected the existing staff. a little respect will go a long way in keeping your staff happy.

DeeGeePrincess 04-11-2004 02:44 PM

I agree with Polarpi....

Bill seemed cool the entire time although there was something about him I didnt really like....he seemed cocky abit...not as cocky as nick tho!!!!
But when he was talking to the staff he was just acting like he was the man or something!!!!

Kwame on the other hand...i felt like shaking him and yelling at him...he shouldve fired Omarosa!!! The teams are definitely there to cause some sabotage and maybe in the finale theyll give in there 2 cents before the final decision!!!!!!!!!!!

I CANT WAIT!!!!!!

...i was sad that amy was fired tho....

KWAME 4 CEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAH

I LUB U!!!!!!!!!!

If you're goint to lie make sure that you're good at it and can do it at the drop of a hat.

Probably also a good idea to make sure that you don't have TV cameras in your face when you tell the lie and that you didn't have TV cameras in your face during the encounter you're lying about.

How amazingly stupid!

cutiepatootie 04-15-2004 10:13 PM

Ok a few more hrs to go ........who is going t win?

my money is on Bill though i love kwame

SATX*APhi 04-15-2004 10:18 PM

It looks like Trump only saw Bill during his best performance and ran into Kwame at a bad time.

Overall, though, I think Kwame has done better.

Xylochick216 04-15-2004 10:31 PM

I think it would be horrible for Trump to fire Kwame based on his team's horrible performance. Kwame did his job as the boss, they just didn't do their jobs. I just like him a little better than Bill... but either one would be good.

Senusret I 04-15-2004 10:56 PM

BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

BOO BOO BOO!!!!!!

ARRRGGHHHHH!!!!!

Oma-ho-sa cost Kwame the game!

mullet81 04-15-2004 10:57 PM

YAY!!! I am so glad Bill won :D

BUT I know that Kwame lost because Omarossa was an IDIOT - i would KILL her if i was Kwame!

docetboy 04-15-2004 11:01 PM

That's pretty awesome that a Chicagoan is going to get to build Trump Tower Chicago...hopefully he will realize that Chicago needs a great building to replace that yuckity sun-times building and Chicagoans don't like New York architechture...(if only the paper went bye bye too....)

AXJules 04-15-2004 11:10 PM

YAY FOR BILL!!!!!!

And Docet I totally agree- who better to get rid of that heinous building and make Chicago even better??!

AXJules 04-15-2004 11:11 PM

Oh yeah and props to whoever it was that OWNED Assorama...who was that..Ereka? Um yeah considering Asso could have knifed her since she was sitting right next to her, that girl gets big points from me.

SATX*APhi 04-15-2004 11:27 PM

I think Sam is awesome.

What was up with Trump mentioning that he might bring back some "familiar faces" for the next season? If Omarosa is one of them, I'm going to be so annoyed. That woman has some serious mental issues and she should not be rewarded for her terrible behavior that may have cost Kwame the win.

BTW, has anyone else heard that Bill is dating Jen from the Bachelor -- the ex of Andrew Firestone?

SATX*APhi 04-16-2004 12:40 AM

I thought Bill was married. oops!

I heard Bill was dating Amy.

Rudey 04-16-2004 01:13 AM

Bill has the pedigree of a homeless shelter dog and Kwame had the energy of a dying man - definitely why he worked in wealth management which is low stress and boring. If you could have combined them, great.

Omarossa is one heck of an idiot. She is on tv. How can you act like such an absolute idiot in front of everyone? Beeyotch you ruined it for our favorite HBS guy.

Trump was probably the one who annoyed me most. This guy is about to be on his 5th bankruptcy. He is considered a joke in the financial world. His atlantic city gambling spots are so over-leveraged on junk bonds that weren't even used there that he can't pay it back. And he's telling people how to get rich? What a frigging crook. At least bill got his salary up front.

Clockwork08 04-16-2004 02:44 AM

I am pretty sure the familar faces will be Sam, Troy, and Omarosa because those were the faces they showed when he announcement. ( plus you know they will bring Omorosa back for at least sweeps)

HBADPi 04-16-2004 03:24 AM

This is a little off subject but the time line of this whole thing is confusing me a bit. I know that the announcement tonight was live but from the shots of the golf course it looked like it was fall. Even Amy mentioned how pretty it was with the leaves changing color. So my question is did Kwame and Bill wait like 4 months to find out who won?

Xylochick216 04-16-2004 08:50 AM

They probably made Bill and Kwame wait awhile before finding out.

I'm sad Kwame lost, but I think Bill is good, too. Either one would be good.

The local news here reported that Bill was dating Jen, the one who won Andrew Firestone's Bachelor season. They didn't mention Amy or anyone else.

Didn't NBC foot the bill for Bill's salary?

The series was taped late last summer and early last fall. Last night's show was live from the time Bill and Kwame re-entered the boardroom, but everything else beforehand was taped. The Trumpster didn't make the final decision until sometime yesterday before the show aired.

I'm happy that Bill won. Bill was more in-control throughout the entire series, while Kwame hung in the background and basically rode Troy's coattails the whole time. However, I think that both Kwame and Bill are both genuinely good guys, and they both deserve to get far in life.

Well, i'll try. I'm going on atleast a 7-week hiatus though on tuesday...

MysticCat 04-16-2004 10:57 AM

I think Trump made the right choice, but I also think Kwame would have done a good job -- he has a lot going for him, not least being the ease with which he relates to others.

My favorite moment, though, was when Trump asked O "Now that you've been caught on tape lying, what do you have to say for yourself." When she made a flip reply, he moved on to Ereka. When O tried to speak up, Trump basically told her that she had her chance and he didn't want to hear excuses. Then he asked Ereka how she felt being vindicated about O being a liar.

I've really never seen anyone (not even me) who can get Ms. MysticCat's blood pressure up more than Omarosa.

I don't like Trump. He's extremely rude and arrogant, rightfully so, but no need to act that way. The way he was talking to Omarosa last night was horrible! Granted, she did F up, BUT she is no longer "employed" by him. Not that being employed by him gives him the authority to talk ugly to her, but if before being fired she talked back she'd probably get fired. I don't know. Last night he was cutting her off and it was very rude. Of course, I'd be telling O to hush it, but I'd probably do it with a little more class.

ZTAngel 04-16-2004 11:37 AM

I was cracking up at how Trump was basically telling Omarosa to hush up. She completely screwed over Kwame so I think she deserves it.

I'm happy Bill won although I think Kwame would've done a great job too.

I can't believe they had to wait so long to find out if they won or not!!!!

sigtau305 04-16-2004 12:12 PM

I got to see the last 15 minutes of the show last night. Kudos to Bill and Kwame for being the final two. Bill will do a good Job.

I think he has been far nicer to her then she deserves, and I think he was well within his bounds. No, she's not employed by him anymore, but her lies and self-importance working on the Jessica Simpson concert had a real potential to affect his business, not just Kwame's chances of winning.

He only cut her off after he gave her a chance to explain herself and she took a pass, choosing instead to respond with a glib comeback. Since it was obvious that she wasn't going to take any responsibility for what she had done, he moved on. Then Omarosa interrupted him, apparently deciding maybe she ought to make an attempt to defend herself after all. That's when he cut her off, and appropriately so.

After all she has said about others publically, after milking her "concussion" for all it was worth -- except when it got in the way of playing basketball -- she deserved a public calling-out worse than she got. I have no sympathy (or respect) for her or criticism of Trump on this count.

SATX*APhi 04-16-2004 03:18 PM

In no way do I back her up. She's awful -- I don't even know how many lies she told! My point was that Trump is quite rude.

I agree. She was brought back on the show, which means that she was still part of the game, even though she was no longer "employed" by Trump.

I still wanna punch her in the throat!!!

Made Page 6 of the Daily News here in NYC too. Must be true then! :)

I *think* Kwame works out at my gym! On the dateline special about the show on Wed I think they showed him at a really brightly cloroed gym and I could've sworn I also saw the name of it. I can only wish & wonder that he goes to the same location of that gym as I do. :)

HBADPi 04-16-2004 05:43 PM

I don't know if anyone else heard this but KFC said that they would be giving the runner-up 20,000 to run KFC for a week. So I guess Kwame doesnt walk away with nothing.
