You really didn't miss too much. Although clearly the best part was when Nathan was trying to go into the school to find Haley and Lucas ran up behind him and tackled him to the ground and Nathan just looked at him like, "the fuck?"

I'm sure he will for a while, but eventually the truth will come out. I seriously wished Dan died at the end of last season. And I know that sounds bad, but it's a tv show and I could've lived without watching him anymore.

I totally agree. It's so unrealistic to have a character who is SO EVIL and has no good qualities whatsoever. I don't expect OTH to be a masterpiece of subtle characterization, but come on guys.

I saw that on E! last night, and while OTH didn't receive the DOOMED category (like Veronica Mars, The Nine, et.al.), it really does look like it's over. If I'm not mistaken, Supernatural's fate is uncertain as well.

Can't really pinpoint when OTH jumped the shark, but with Haley and Nathan getting married while in HS, Haley getting pregnant, Lucas' heart condition, Dan murdering his own brother, Peyton's real mom...it was simply too many trainwrecks to deal with all at once.

Me and my roommate are definitely the biggest fans of One Tree Hill!!! It's like a Wednesday night tradition to drop everything and watch that show! I hope it continues:)

Ok I watched, The OC. I really liked the first 3/4 of season one and then dealt with season 2 and kind of didn't like season 3.

Bad freaking writers. Sigh.

Anyway, is One Tree Hill like the OC? Maybe I'll pick up a season on DVD. Is it worth it? Whats it about?

I didn't really get a chance to keep up with it before it went on hiatus, but from what I've seen so far, I'm beginning to enjoy it again.

Nice to see that justice will finally be brought for Keith's death (hopefully) and they're moving beyond the usual Peyton/Lucas/Brooke love triangle. Great seeing Tyler Hilton back last week in the TX prom episode.

Also, and most of you already probably know this, but they're showing reruns of The OC and One Tree Hill on the SOAP Network. 90210 and OTH in the same afternoon...gotta love it!

I was pretty ticked off that Dan was kissing Karen at the end. I mean, yeah it was obvious it was going to happen, but I just wish he got what was coming to him already.

And this Abby girl needs to come forward ASAP with Lucas. This crap is starting to make me mad. A whole season of him getting away with the murder is NOT cool.

How, though? She and her mother upped and left after she told Lucas everything. The house was abandoned, remember? I liked this Abby girl and how she made Dan almost go crazy.

Knowing how they usually do things in Tree Hill, Lucas will probably do everything in his power to fuck with Dan till it's Dan who will turn himself in.

That's how I'm thinking it will go down as well.

Figured I would bump this since the new season starts next Tuesday and it's going to be a two hour premiere! Have you guys heard about this yet? They decided to skip college and start four years after the last season! I am sooo excited for this, and see where the cast is four years down the road. CANT WAIT :)

I'm so glad they decided to skip college. I didn't really quite see any storylines there. If they did it that way, they'd just be like Saved By The Bell (only with a bunch of horny characters). Very Dawson's Creek Series Finale-esque, IMO.

Looks like Lucas is the author he's always wanted to be, Brooke's a fashion designer, Nathan and Haley are still together (but Nathan's an alcoholic with facial hair)...what was Peyton doing?

I caught the Series Bowl V on SoapNet over the NY holiday, so it was neat seeing all the newest episodes again leading up to the season premiere. I'm so glad they moved them to Tuesdays -- I don't really have much to watch on that night.

I know I couldn't agree with you more about skipping the college years, I think that was the best decision they could have made. It gives them the opportunity to take the show in a whole new direction, without being cliche' and unrealistic if you know what I am saying.

I loved the fast forwards it is so cool seeing what all of the characters have been up to, and I love that Brooke is working in Fashion, it seems like shes some sort of a mini celeb now! The show couldn't start at a better time because I too don't have anything to watch on Tuesday nights, and now its going to be my favorite TV night!!

I can't believe the two hour premiere is on tonight! I can not wait for this season to start its going to be amazing!

I think they were smart to skip the 4yrs of college. Not so realistic that they're all back there, but it works enough for me to watch it. :)

I finished watching it today.

-Jaime is absolutely adorable! I just wish we could see Karen and Lily. I can't imagine Lucas not be a totally doting older brother

-So the actor who plays Dan is still listed in the credits, wonder when we will see him and what that will be about since he's kind of in jail for murder :rolleyes:

-I honestly thought the way Nathan injured himself was kind of lame. I thought he got hurt either on the court or in a car accident not some lame bar fight:rolleyes:

-As a teacher, OMG Haley sucks. I mean I know it's a show and all, but come on. Student teaching and those education course DO tend to teach you some things (even though I'm sure we can all think of teachers we have had who should have never been teachers). To let her class walk all over her like that was pretty lame, IMPO.

-I sooooooo want Lucas and Peyton back together, like yesterday!

-I'm glad that Brooke is "taking charge" of her company. In the first part she was letting that chick completely "run" it for her. I'm also glad she is encouraging Peyton to start her own label and putting her "money where her mouth is"

-And speaking of Mouth. I just love him. Too bad his boss is a bee-otch from hell. LOL.

THought it was interesting that 2 characters from ABC Family's Beautiful People are now on OTH. The lady running the company (the mother from BP) and the new nanny (one of the daughter's from BP).

I just got done catching up with my DVRs and I'm glad that I'm following OTH again. I haven't felt this way since Season 2, I think.

I am kinda bummed that Karen's not really a part of the cast anymore. I read on OTH's Wikipedia entry that Moira Kelly will be back this season, but only for a few episodes. And Deb. Did Nathan make any reference about his mom at all? I don't recall that he did. I know that she was in rehab at the end of last season, but it's like they totally wrote her off.

I'm also a little sad that Whitey's no longer part of the mix. It does make sense, though, because he was retiring from Tree Hill to work at the college level anyway, and he wouldn't have a major storyline now that the kids are "all grown up". Nice to see Lucas and Skillz carrying on the legacy.

I'm most impressed with Jamie. That kid's a riot, especially when he's with Uncle Lucas and Uncle Skillz.

I'm liking the new OTH. I still have to watch this week's though off the DVR.

I don't know how old you are, but I remember Daphne Zuniga when she was in Spaceballs!

I read somewhere that Whitey will be back for at least one episode, maybe the next one, when they flashback to college.

I'm really liking this season as well, especially Jamie when he's hanging out with all those guys.

Old enough, I love that movie:D, I can't believe I forgot! I guess I was going from her TV days.

Thoughts on tonights season finale?

Who do you think Lucas called to meet him at the airport to go to Vegas? I've got some thoughts :)

Season Finale was great. Lots of Nathan/Haley/Jamie, which is pretty much my favorite. So glad that they're all getting their acts together, overcoming their fears, and pursuing their dreams.

The Brooke/Angie/Lucas storyline is waaaaaay over the top and getting on my nerves. I don't find it believable that Brooke and Lucas will ever get back together.

I actually like the character of Lindsay and I have a sneaking suspicion she's sneaking around for Season 6.

No way he called Peyton, because Peyton and Lucas are going to be together at the end of the series I think, so it's too soon for them to get together. I think he called Lindsay.

So does Mouth taking the job in Omaha (I thought he already rejected the job!) mean no more Mouth on OTH? Praise the Lord! It will also get rid of the tremendously useless Millicent.

The Deb/Skillz storyline is the most disgusting thing to come down the pipe in a long, long time.

I searched 'tree hill lucas' and it was considerably harder! But I did find it and merged it - as well as another random Tree Hill thread that was running around!

I love any segment with Jamie in it. That kid's perfect and not too way over the top cute (think Raven Symone/Olivia in the Cosby Show). Jamie was adorable singing with Gavin DeGraw!

I too saw the Dan getting hit a mile away.

I realized it as he was walking backwards and telling the old man to be careful and i was so EXCITED!!!! I was like hess gonna get hit by a bus and then he did and i cheered inside. . . His beeper for a heart being available right after he got hit was a bit over the top though.
