Put the colors in order based on the instructions below.

The colors are blue, brown, green, orange, purple, red, and yellow.

1. Purple is somewhere to the left of green.

2. Red is next to blue.

3. Brown is 3 away from blue. (2 between)

4. Yellow is 2 away from red.

5. Blue is in the middle.

6. Orange is directly between yellow and purple

Here are some riddles. It's called Rhyme Time. I will give you a clue in which the answer will consist of a two word rhyme.

Riddle #1 clue:

The fowl of a famous British author (there are two possible rhymes for this particular author, but if you're really clever, you can get a third rhyme for another particular author).

Riddle #2 clue:
Ellen Degeneres

Who wants to step up to the plate first?

Yup

(or "Chuck's Clucks").

There's another author you can use along the lines of "Chuck's Clucks". Wanna take a swing at that?

I have been chomping at the bit on whether or not to give this one, but I decided to take a shot at giving the clue; if it is too risque, please advise:

Donald Sutherland's son-turned-daughter's noisy orifice.

12dn94dst 05-26-2007 12:58 PM

A man is trapped in a room. The room has only two possible exits: two doors. Through the first door there is a room constructed from magnifying glass. The blazing hot sun instantly fries anything or anyone that enters. Through the second door there is a fire-breathing dragon. How does the man escape?

Drolefille 05-26-2007 01:31 PM

What time of day is it?

Does he open both doors and let the sun fry the dragon?

12dn94dst 05-31-2007 09:50 AM

an easy one

Given below are five pairs of words. Each pair sounds similar, but have different meanings (they are homonyms). Can you find them?

Lift high - Bring down, destroy

Plant with ears - Labyrinth

Burial/Cremation formalities - Uses a pen and paper and forms legible words

To communicate with God - Carnivore's target

Watery part of milk that separates when milk turns to curds - The route or the course traveled from one place to another

Infamous12 05-31-2007 10:52 AM

I always feel silly when people say, "This is easy"...it automatically means I won't get it, lol.

Plant with ear/Labyrinth: Maize/Maze
Communicate with God/Carnivore's target: Pray/Prey
Watery part of milk/course traveled from one plact to other: Way(sp)/Way

or pray and prey?

both would kinda work, right?

Drolefille 05-31-2007 11:11 AM

The other parts are
Raise/Raze
and
Rites/Writes
(last one is whey/way ;))

Soror Numba, STOP IT! You don't give yourself enough credit! You did well (except for the spelling *giggle* it's "whey".) :)

"Welcome back to the show. Before the break, Mr Ixolite here made it to our grand finale! How do you feel Mr.Ix?"
"Nervous."
"Okay, now to win the star prize of one million pounds all you have to do is answer the following question in 90 seconds."
"Okay, I'm ready."
"Right. In 90 seconds name 100 words that do NOT contain the letter A. Start the clock!"
