In 1996 a member of an NPC sorority that we do not have here founded Phi Chi, which is named for her pledge class, for the purpose of affiliating with her org. The org did not accept the invitation to expand to MTSU, and she has since graduated. It is still the goal of Phi Chi to affiliate with an NPC sorority.

Thanks for all the encouragement throughout this long process, and the sweet words of congratulations. You gals are awesome!

Yep! Actually, I hate most sports in general, but I went out of my way to vote NO for the Titans. Strictly for funding and educational purposes... I support MTSU's football team, baseball team, and basketball team, as well as any little league, but other than that, I'm more of an indoor-let-me-read-a-book-and-do-makeovers-type-girl.

Just curious about the GLO the 1996 Phi Chi founder gal was a member of? Sounds like with the colors it might have been Theta?

She was a member of Tri Delta. Phi Chi appears to have great alumni support; there have been alum at everything, and tey seem very involed, as well as very cool about contributing to the chapter. Alum support can only mean good things!

I wish! However, there is one chapter that has been consistently below total, so I'm not sure how it works if that's the case, and we just got Alpha Chi 3 years ago next spring. I would love to see it happen before I graduate, but I don't know...

Thanks Heather! I'm having a great time. The girls are really sweet, and I'm having a blast so far. We're gearing up for Hay Daze and Homecoming now, so things are picking up! Good luck to all the MTSU orgs in their preparations for the next few weeks!!!!
